    Second post of the thread.

    We call this our "relish" dish. Various flavors of pickles and olives. A must for Thanksgiving dinner.

    Do sweet gherkins and chorizo filled olives go with one of the best ever RIS?

    2009 bourbon angel's share. This vintage was flat upon release and is completely dead at this point. Boozy sugar water with burnt toothpicks. Dumped it after a few ounces.

    Well, I've decided to open my special Thanksgiving beer a little earlier than I've done in the past, so here we go.

    It's not bad, powdery Peanut Butter with some Coffee notes. Wet/sweet finish with subtle bitterness. I've killed worse swill.

    Yeah, unfortunately still has a decent amount of heat and dull bourbon flavor. Very watered down too.
