I can't wait to dig into my day 2 beer from @JNForsyth it sounds delicious.

 

Day 2 from @JasonR1975 really shows the contrast between true Belgian lambic/gueze and American "sours". I much prefer subtle funk to warheads.

 

Day 2 - Back on my feet and ready for what @vitaminvert has in store for me:

Woah!!! BA Ten Fidy! I never thought I would get to try this one. I am so stoked about this! Death by Coconut is no slouch either. I was lucky to try very recently and very happy to have another one.

Here's Day 2

Easily the best Porter that I've ever had!

 

No. My wife was on my case pretty hard around the sign up deadline, so I didn't pull the trigger. Funnily enough, two days after Dave sent out targets, she came to me and said, "you know, it does sound like a pretty cool thing. I guess you can join if you want..." I guess I should've listened to my own advice: It's easier to beg for forgiveness than to ask for permission...

Nick, Is that baby doll for comfort when the pack goes down against the bears later today? Three shipper?

 

All I can say about this one is wow. Thought I'd warm up a little for my turkey sixer later tonight and share this with family. Opened after round 1 of Thanksgiving. Top 3 beer for me! Not often I rate something a 5, this is only my third!

Poured blind for the wife and mil.



Nose is pretty sweet and definitely some pumpkin brown sugar maybe. On the palate it is quite sweet definitely some pumpkin reminds me of a mellowed barley wine. My gut wants to say good gourd or something but the color is too dark. Drinks like a pumpkin barley wine really but can't put my finger on what it is...



CCB seasonal creep..the chocolate is the sweetness i couldn't pin down. I have only had this beer once and definitely a nice thanksgiving treat. Cheers Steve!

#VBS Starter beer for the day - Feral One from Firestone Walker

 

Getting into Day 2 a bit early because Football. This time we've got Pear Bear from FFF. Have heard a lot about this one and again, have heard great things about this one in the thread. For a while I didnt even know FFF made sours, so excited to see what they can do.

Day #2 is a very delicious espresso mead. I kinda suspected this from Dennis' post earlier and of course the cap was unlike and beer I've seen.


Sweet and boozy and very tasty. Also Thankful I put 9 points on the Lions today.

Let's just say I'm very "grateful" for today's selection. Could not think of a more perfect T-Day beer. Hope I wake up in time for some BCBS chasing tomorrow after I drink this one tonight.
