    Thanks Happygiving day! Found a divine sign at the bottom of a plate of bacon this morning while having my breakfast beer. It appears Pumpkin also sees the light. Miss my folks in Mexico and family in California, to them a toast...Hope everyone has a good one where ever you might be, with whatever beer you have in hand. Cheers!

    Number 3 coming in at 8.4% is karmeleit tripel, this is a belgian brewery by the bottle it seems like a non trappiste "abbey beer" it smells slightly mustier than tripels I've tried before but that may just be age. I'm getting light banana strong corriander a medium pepper smell in the backlground finished up with fresh white bread from the belgian yeast. this smells delicious. cheers![​IMG]

    Simple but I think it turned out looking really cool, I may replace some with rare bottles down the road but for now I think these turned out pretty cool! Cheers!

    Maybe more of a Christmas beer than a thanksgiving beer, but hey it's great! A little sweeter than I thought it would be, but definitely taste the spruce tips in a good way. Happy Thanksgiving

    Here's how turkey day goes in the newspaper world ... first to work early to get ahead:

    Then it's root like hell for 3 hours (or until Cam Newton finishes off my Cowboys' season early in the third quarter :grimacing:) ... and then back to work to edit lots of finely written copy :slight_smile:rolleyes:slight_smile: and finish off my pages in time to rejoin you cats of the Late Night BA. :grinning::grinning::grinning:

    Hope you're safe and surrounded by loved ones, whether in the flesh or in spirit.

    That's exactly what I was thinking. I used to refuse to drain pour but it's just not worth wasting time on bad beers. I still finish most beers and only dump ones that are infected or have gone bad.
