You have to use a photo hosting site like Photobucket, Imgur, Instagram,... to upload you pics to. Then copy the link/address and use the little mountain icon on the top banner to paste and insert photo here.

The new label is looking good. If ever there was a beer in need of a makeover...

Had dinner and I'm bloated and tired. Had a boozy one lined up by Lost Abbey. Needed caffiene. My 28th beer rated by this brewery and it is the first over 4.0. Bitter, strong, coffee stout that is mellowed by dark chocolate. Well played!

Happy Thanksgiving BA. I went to a upscale buffet for today's food enjoyment. Didn't go overboard, but still tried most of the pie :grinning:

Continuing with my cellar cleanse today:

This is a great imperial schwarzbier. Big flavors of chocolate, cocoa, coffee, toasted dark bread, molasses, raisin, plum, and light smoke/char; with some herbal/spicy hops. Fair of herbal/roast bitterness; moderately dry finish with light creaminess and hop stickiness in the mouthfeel. Very smooth and complex. They are bringing this beer back next year as a seasonal, but it'll be 8.8%. This is 7.5% in the summer variety packs.

Great DIPA! Aromas and flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, papaya, mango, melon, berry, lemon zest, orange peel, and pine; with some honey/toasted bready maltiness and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Moderate amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness; with a very well balanced finish with moderate stickiness and slight creaminess in the mouthfeel. Good amount of dryness; a bit above a medium body; not too heavy or malty at all. Glad I bought a full 4 pack. Looking forward to the #2 version in January, which is Waimea, Wai-iti, and Galaxy hops.

2013 is tasting fantastic! Huge milk chocolate, cocoa, coffee, molasses, vanilla, toffee, bourbon, toasted oak, and light char; with some additional restrained licorice/dark fruit complexity. Balanced bourbon/oak spiciness and light roasted malt bitterness on the finish against the sweetness. Incredible stuff. Definitely big on the barrel presence/complexity now, but still a has a good amount of coffee flavors; and is not boozy at all. Very well integrated and balanced. A very smooth sipper, with a warming finish.

    Cheers!

Probably the most underrated Testament album out there. This and The Gathering were much heavier and more Death Metal in feel, and also did not have Alex Skolnick on guitars. But still an awesome album. Both of them.

A local favorite - Venetucci Pumpkin Ale from Bristol Brewing

My wife and I had to improvise due to weather on the Front Range and not go up to Denver for a meal with her sister and our brother-in-law.

We had everything for the meal (turkey, yams, cranberries, mixed veggies, mashed potatoes and gravy) except dessert. I had another local brew during dinner (Local Relic's Chimayo Chili IPA) and will enjoy this ale brewed from pumpkins harvested from the Venetucci Farms just south of Colorado Springs within a few minutes of posting this...
