Lol I can't wait to see BCBS continuously get restocked until Jan and people sitting on case after case of shelfturds. Not that the beer is bad, just the potential trade value and thus the only reason to have more than a handful.

Variants on the otherhand seem to always be worth the effort though I have seen mixed reviews on Regal. Hoping to bump into a tap takeover and taste them all w/o committing to the effort required to track everything down.

Regular BCBS never really traded high in the first place. Most people hoarded to actually drink it because it is good.

BevMo in Long Beach off of 2nd and PCH only had BCBS, but had 15 cases and no bottle limit. I was first in line at 8:00 am when they opened at 9:00.

Heard from somebody in line that Total Wine at the LB Towne Center off the 605 and Carson that they had Coffee and Barleywine and also opened at 8:00 am. When I called to confirm on Weds and see what the jackasses on the phone told me they only had Barleywine and they opened at 9:00, yet they opened at 8:00 am today and had coffee as well.

I went in that store on Tuesday due to hearing others getting some earlier than today. I saw the Manager walking with just one case from the Markstein delivery saying he was going to lock it in his office. I wonder if it's still there unbeknownst to the "beer guy".

Same here. Maybe they will show up soon? Sounds like the production #s are high enough that they will hit most metros.

Beer buyer in Walnut Creek said his East Bay distributor only had the BCBS SKU but his shop on the peninsula got Coffee. KBS on the shelf as a consolation prize...

It did a long time ago (around the time of their release events) in a limited fashion; seeing the distributor bleed some out from time to time isn't a big surprise.

Wondering the same thing. They had regular and barleywine last year and it was not too bad, but I'm guessing the coffee will be a bigger draw this year. It will be extra crazy if the rain takes out the patio seating.

In East Bay to my knowledge only Telegraph WF (on Wed) and Gilman WF (gone by 8:30 today) had variants, Regal and Coffee. Even Beer Revolution which last year had VR got Regular only today.
