Melvin Coming to CO

Any idea if Thai Me Up does growler fills? Man I can't wait to have access to this stuff in cans!

 

Yes we fill growlers. Hubert on right now! 2x4 and melvin up later this week. Get it while you can it goes really fast. 30 bbl brewhouse should be up and running in a couple weeks.

Talked to John from Melvin/Backcountry last night and he said kegs will be hitting the area in the next week or 2 and cans sometime in January. There will be a release party at Backcountry in Boulder and at Falling Rock. Didn't get anymore details on the parties.

 

Love to know what stores bit probably Hazels...

 

It's a 30bbl brewhouse. I wouldn't worry too much about searching. My guess is that it will be pretty available which is exciting

 

2x4 day is a holiday I can support.

 

Was at Melvin a few days ago and they said the first batch of beer had just been brewed in the new facility. 3 weeks until it's ready for kegs/cans/bottles. So that lines up with PDawson's update.

 

Any idea of how many bottles/cans? I just wonder if this is worth getting excited about or if it's going to be super scarce and nearly impossible to get. once it hits the Denver market.

 

What's up Colorado BAs? Thought we would finally drop the official word on Melvin in CO. Thanks for your patience and excitement, beer is on its way very soon. Mr. Dawson is correct, kegs will start to arrive in late January at your favorite beer bars, followed by 2x4 Day celebration on 2/4. We will be tapping 2x4 and other Melvin beers at 24 locations around the country, 4 in CO, stay tuned for more details. Bombers will start to arrive in February and then by late March we will have cans ready and production will be in full swing. At first supply will be somewhat limited, but we will steadily ramp up production, and CO will be a market we focus on. This has all taken longer than we'd hoped, but beer quality is of utmost importance to us, and we are working hard to replicate the magic of Melvin beers on our new 30 bbl system. CO has shown us love from the beginning and we truly appreciate the support. Cheers!
