I love the original and this is a great take on that.

Mike glad you didnt mind the second beer from them. I was scratching my head weather or not to send it. One of the best beers I had this year and I had one left saving for a local so I had to send it.
    Cheers

You absolutely made the right decision as far as I'm concerned...

Last night went to a fun bottle share. Brought a couple bottles from the locals. Just wanna shout out @PassMeAZima and @PG2G for these treats. Cheers!

    Martin beer

Jason beer which was a wish list beer

My liver was still outta commission during the Bengals but quite thirsty as of right now. @ajaylock is being so true, sending more love from TX. Had a pour of this last night ironically but palate was fatigued, however found it very tasty with a lot of vanilla. Today much more balanced with the wood of the barrel, bourbon and Vanillia Bean. Very, very sticky and loving it. Aj this is another home run, thanks a ton!!
    Cheers

Day 5 beers. @LehighAce06 requested that I drink these side-by-side, to compare a local and a non-local versions of the same type of beer.

It was really interesting to drink these, since I had both before, but never at the same time. I found Sunday Morning to have a more prominent coffee, chocolate and bourbon character, with fuller mouthfeel, while KBS was thinner and more oaky.

@JNForsyth continues to kill it with this turkey box. This is a very good beer. Very creamy and delicious.

    Down with Devman!

My wife has been prepped to bring the box in and put it in the garage so it stays cool. When I told her it was coming, she responded "good, because it looked like you were out of beer"

Pro-tip: she's wrong. I'll be spending all of January sending boxes to the 15 or so of you I owe them to. February is for repairing the marriage. No Casey release in February... Coincidence?

As noted by @ohyeahitsmuff I had a few people over last night for some beers, also in the group was the good doctor, @jdhowe. Brandon posted a couple highlights, but here's the killshot:

Not pictured is the Fremont Bourbon Barrel Dark Star that he took with him for his own kill shot for the 6 Days.

With this, I also owe my 6 Days sender an apology, he sent me a great looking beer that the group did not get to, despite my best efforts.

Evil Twin Cognac Jesus! I already had a bottle of Even More Jesus and Aun Mas a Jesus for just such an occasion that I might receive one of the more interesting bottles, such that I could do a small horizontal; I plan to make up my Day 4 the next time I have a chance to drink with my dad (hoping for Tuesday), who really likes non-adjunct Imperial Stouts.

I'll be opening my Day 5 soon, and it is a DOOZY, what an awesome treat! Really looking forward to this.

Wrapping up Day 6, part 2 Tired Hands Freedom from the Known from @ohyeahitsmuff. The cherry really pops through on this, nice and light and refreshing. This is a pretty awesome way to wrap up the 6 Days (5 days in this case due to travel...). Group shot coming up in a second!

Day 5 - big want. It didn't disappoint. Delicious, sour, but not overly so.

I hit a home run with my sender.

Only got two bottles this year and had already sent one out. Saw it on your wants and knew what needed to be done. Thankfully I found it on draft earlier this year so the ticker in me didn't go crazy
