    @bobhits
    Looking at photos online of various pick ups or hauls, other than the color of the small square on the label, you sorta can't tell what is what. I was trying to read some earlier and was stumped. I mentioned in the other GI thread that it just likely doesn't matter what is being sold, if its GI and black friday, itll get bought up. This is likely a multiple million dollar big wig, big room decision. Sounds like they were trying to go the mystique Westvleteren bottle route but had to showcase some sort of label (US label laws). But I think it falls flat. The former labels were distinct. But when its GI and black friday, it doesn't seem to matter.

    I sorta wanted to know what the red one was or the orange one. Knowing past labels helps a bit. They did try to match or keep that sort of lineage. But overall, reading the label and seeing what is in regal rye or how others are aged is just too hard. But what do I know. I'll never see most of those in person anyways

    I would much rather have 12 oz. 16.9 oz is too much for me - i'm getting a minor buzz with that. The 16.9 is almost forcing me to only drink it when I want to split it with friends - which is fine but there are times (like during a work week) where I would like to drink it but don't want a buzz.

    12oz was more than enough... 17, is too much for me.

    It's fine, usually the places that have it on tap serve you 8oz and usually I order about 3 or 4.

    Haha, well sure! Though last time I saw it on draft it was one glass (10 oz I think?) limit due to the abv. They were pretty strict on that too.

    I have some 25cl shifters that were awesome for splitting a bcbs yesterday. I think everybody advocating 8 Oz bottles is being short sighted. I suspect we would see 8 Oz bottles at $5.99-$7.99 each. All in all, I think the current bottle got more product to more people at a reasonable price

    But again the quote was it's too much for 1 and too little for another. The issue was presented as too big and too small (though my topic perhaps is misleading there, so my bad).

    I'm still on the fence. After 1 I am and was pretty darn buzzed. A lot more so than I'd have expected. I'm a decent sized guy and drink a good bit. I waited 2 hours to go to the grocery which I'm just back from a quick run. I also drank the beer over more than an hour.

    That said if it were 22 I'd have been ordering delivery!

    Kinda reminds me of and old Apothicary bottle, it looks very retro. Still like it.

    Can't complain that 16.9oz of BCBS is too much when 22oz of Parabola is fine.

    Personally, I'd rather they were 33cl. Heck, if I could get 6-8 oz., bottles, that would be even better. The format is pleasing to the eye but at the abv a little goes a long way. I got one bottle and will probably buy one more, but if the price point keeps going up, it'll start to price itself out of the game for me.

    I think 12 ounce bottles/cans are best for all beers. I wish Firestone Walker would put their barrel aged beers in 12 ounce four-packs, that would be great.

    I think it sucks. The 12 ounce format was great last year.

    Awesome for one and much better than 12oz for 2. Format sucks when you have more than one other person though.
