I think Lost Abbey is the only brewery from the beers you sent that I'd even had more than 1 or 2 beers from the brewery at all. Truly a lot of newness!

 

I forgot to take a picture of Day 4 but had this years release of Wheelhouse by Four Fathers. Ill post day 5 after work and day 6 later today of course. Last day of 6 DOT guys, its been fun even if I wasnt in the round.

 

Turkey Sixer coming to an end. It was an awesome round and couldn't have had a more awesomer (it's a word) sender in @xICooRsYIx . Even though it took me 3 days to tag him, I posted each beer each day. Gonna leave this pic here and post the VBS tonight from my hotel.

Not getting a like from me ....

 

I just opened my last beer from @JNForsyth and he ended the six days with some heavy artillery. This was my first time doing a days of box and it was a lot of fun. Thanks so much Jeremy. I really enjoyed every beer in this awesome box that you sent.

@whyteboy003 made me do dirty things for this beer. I saw you had FB on your brewery wants list so I knew I had to make it happen.

Also, I'm a day behind due to being sick yesterday. I think being with a sick toddler basically 24/7 for the last 4 days finally caught up to me. I did talk to @lefty17 already about this and we're all good. I have an awesome 10%+ abv imperial stout to drink for day 5, I'll try and double up and finish my day 6 beer tonight as well.

 

Got two boxes going out today. Both to Locals. One knows it's coming and one may or may not. Also going to try and hit up another bar for another pour of BCBS after work. Have no fear @Kylo76 day 6 is going down tonight!

 

I normally do not try to hype beer, but I think Saison du Ble may very well be perfect. I would buy it by the pallet if I could. Refreshing, tart, funky. Seriously amazing beer. Thank you so much @Kramerbarthomer My gf and I shared it last night. I tried to take as long as possible before finishing it. I left a mouthful in my glass for over an hour just so it wasnt over for a long time.

This is now on the top of my permawants, and any other SP offering is now in my wants. Of course they are difficult to get, but it comes with the territory.

Now for day 6. When I originally looked at the Casey release that @Kramerbarthomer posted he got a bottle from for the 6 days, this is the one I assumed it was because I had mentioned loving brett loves citra and this was closest to that style. But no, he sends both!!


Casey- Hop mess. I can not wait to get into this tonight. I could not have asked for a better 6 days.

 

Hop Mess is probably my wife's favorite beer. @vitaminvert hooked us up with it. I thought it was awesome as well but my wife really loved it.

 

#VBS with CBS. Good Morning was better, but wouldn't kick this out of bed.

 

Tip my hat to the Broncos for winning their superbowl. Kinda puts things in perspective tho in terms of what it takes to beat the patriots. Top D in the league against what i would almost call our practice squad offense. Then those refs... i mean c'mon..Shit on the Pats all you want. But if you dont think these last couple games were heavily favoring the opposing teams in terms of officiating then your blind.

I could care less if we lose the next 2/3 i just want a healthy team for the playoffs.

Also, If Oskarmyerweinner wins another game.. i wouldnt be surprised if manning never touched a football on the broncos again.!

Oh and im glad you liked the beers dude!

Enjoying my day 6 beer while I hunker down for the snowstorm we are supposed to be getting, we'll see if it actually delivers.

An awesome bunch. As I mentioned in previously posts, very well curated, hitting some favorite styles of mine and 5 new ticks. Thanks so much @dwmetsfan13! This was a cool way to jump into "days" BIFs - 6 was a nice number and now I feel like I can take the step up to doing a 12 day in the future, maybe next years 12DoX

No burn or shade meant...just haven't been impressed with this beer each time i've had it.

 

Day 6 is manageable... . Hope you enjoy!
