So but I can still be one though, right? As long as I hide it? Am I understanding correctly?

West End Bottle Shop. Check their Facebook page or call as this event began Black Friday. You wouldn't believe it but this same bar got either one or two 1/6 kegs of Bourbon County vanilla last year. Selling 32oz growlers for about $27.

Where the hell was this place when I was going to school? Is literally in WashPa, or outside?

The 77 year old woman that works mornings at Shadyside MD is the biggest beer nerd ever. We actually get way more rare beers but she hoards them all. I just can't say no to that Grandma charm.

FYI, I know for a fact that Washington Co got 60 total bottles of BCBS. West end bottle probably got 24, where are the other 36 is the question?

This employee is much preferred to the ones who have inexplicably convinced themselves that they are anything more.

First off, who did he think he is? The craft beer police? Why did he feel the need to involve himself in a situation that didn't involve him? Did he think I looked like I didn't know shit about the product I was shopping for?

first off- I wasn't giving you any advice. Don't mix it up. I was simply offering to sell you a case of SN Celebrator that I had warm, outside in my trunk, for $20.
secondly, they straight up lied to me about "not having" DFH Penn Tuxedo
one of the girls there is pretty much the only helpful one, and sadly, it's just cuz she recognizes me.
that heavy kid Steve with the finger tats doesn't even drink.
he's tried to give me beer tips before...
this sounds like something straight from Pol Pot's memoirs on cassette...

The idea of Pol Pot sitting down in a recording studio, reflecting wistfully on a life well lived & committing his story to tape a la Robert Evans is making me chuckle now. (Apologies to anyone here with Cambodian roots, that was one evil effer)

And, um, regarding craft beer...had Blizzard of Hops last night at GEMDH20WRX & still have a hard time getting into that one. It's got a weird veggie thing going on.

Robert Evans is EXACTLY what I thought of when I read this whole exchange.
