I'm sure it is, I'm a bit worried as to what "manageable" means to you crazy FIB bastards though.

 

A simple 'thanks' or no comment probably would have been better. It gets a 3.9 on untapped and 4.1 on BA so someone likes it. You haven't checked it in on BA either so maybe he didn't know you had had it and didn't care for it.

 

Damn Adam after hearing his cries for leinancy I was, and kind of still am, hoping for a Grey Monday!

 

Here is the final haul from @JNForsyth minus a Pizza Boy Yellows Breaches Kriek that was sadly left at my wife's aunts house on thanksgiving. This box was fantastic. I really liked doing this "days of" BIF. Thanks again Jeremy for all of these awesome beers. You are a true BA.

I honestly enjoyed all of it. I am just getting into Sours and the Kriek was pretty sour for me. If I had to rank them I would say. 1.) DDH Fort Point. I would bathe in this beer. 2.) I would give Morning Wood and Cocoa-Nut Framinghammer a tie. I loved both of them. 4.) I would put Cafe Americano third. Such great coffee flavor. 5.) Permanent Funeral. For such a high alcohol double IPA is still manages to provide awesome hop flavor without being to syrupy. 6.) Yellow Breaches Kriek. I really liked this beer but in this group it finished last. It was very sour but also had great flavor.

 

So first my apologies to my sender @twofacedmonster (who I believe sent if not the best, top 2 boxes this round) for being absent the last couple days. Sick little one, sick wife, very busy! I am drinking Day 5 right now and it is ridiculous! But first, I need to post my day 4.


I peeled of that toilet paper and revealed another beautiful cap! I've had Supplication and Consecration so I know it isn't one of them (however it is better than both of them) so my #1 guess will be a big want of mine! BEAT!


Holy fuk was this good! I've said it in every post, you did too much Bryan! I am not worthy of such an amazing box but I do truly thank you for giving me the chance of trying all these outstanding beers!

Day 6 brings an end to an outstanding turkey sixer box. Keith, can't thank you enough bud. Nothing but permawants and wants SIX days in a row!

Day 6. De Garde Beaucoup Berry Bu. Look at that color!! Such an awesome beer.

And now day 5. Judging by the size of the bottle I'm almost 100% sure where it came from and I can't wait to taste it!

Wow, Delicious! Just the right amount of acidity, and great fruity taste, perhaps peaches.. Man I'm enjoying the shit out of this right now!


Well Fuk! No name on the label and I caint read whatever language that is. If I remember correctly from when I used to go to the pit a long time ago, it's Fen Tao (or something like that). Any ways it is really good! Another huge want from @twofacedmonster ! Next Funky Buddha releases you're fuked buddy.

Day 6. I've only had abyss once and it was a very small pour on a day my body didn't been really want to drink, so I didn't get a good shot at it. I actually have a bottle of 2014 in my cellar and still absolutely love that this was my day 6. Been wanting to revisit and thought about cracking my bottle soon, so now I don't have to and can age it more. This is a delicious stout, and wanted to drink it tonight since I feel a cold coming on and at worst I was going to save it for flyers tomorrow so I figured I'd drink it while not feeling worse. Thanks again @PassMeAZima ! All beers were wants and have been great. I unfortunately don't have a kill shot since the 6 beers were drank across 3 different homes, but this round was a ton of fun. Idk if I'd ever do a 12 days just since it's twice as daunting to send a box and also to drink 12 days straight, but I'd immediately jump on another 6. Cheers, locals!

 

Its rather well liked in the Minneapolis area and I've talked with many a person that says they like it over Furious. I'm more on the 'its awesome' side, but hops are a fickle beast man.

Glad you enjoyed. In hindsight I feel like I should've ordered them a bit more logically I think but I wanted the DDHFPPA to be day 1 since it was pushing it's #lehighfreshness and then I just alternated hoppy with non-hoppy until the last two days when I figured Sip at 8% would be better than Bomb at 11% or whatever. Cheers!

 

So I got a FedEx notification that a box had arrived from @rspauldi. I knew it would be coming, because the Colts boned him. (I actually picked a week I expected them to win and cover, but no such luck.)

I keep getting boxes and saying I didn't expect so much. My wife actually commented that I say it every time... That says a lot about the quality & quantity that you guys bring.

 

6th and final day of the Turkey 6er. I really enjoyed this Sang Rouge from Cascade, think it was a want or should have been. Really tart, felt like a cross between and oude bruin, and a Flanders red. Thanks so much Dennis for the great beers!
