Here is how it went last night.
Opened the BT and began enjoying with dinner. Put the boys to bed. Drank some more. Started making a few posts. Some of which looked pretty funny this morning. Finished BT. Realized that the clean sheets were still in the dryer. Drunkenly put the sheets on the bed and passed out.
Even if Cindy was she would have to take control.

 

Obviously I'm criminally late with this post. I've reached out to my incredibly generous sender to apologize for my poor showing through the 6 Days, I'm hoping he accepts my apology, and maybe we should come up with a new hashtag for me for anytime someone is being a douche (please no one actually do this).

Day 4 of the Turkey Sixer: I was overjoyed to find out I'd have a chance to christen this piece of glassware with not just the brewery but the specific pictured beer, something I love to do when I can. I'm really happy to be drinking this on a day when I'll enjoy it, and boy am I. A smooth bitterness accompanies the strong lemon flavor in a way that is reminiscent of eating a lemon as if it were an orange. Pithy, juicy, and bright. The funk comes through toward the finish to remind you who made this beer. Incredibly refreshing and bright, as much as I've loved the beers of this style I've had with age on them, this is one I think really shines when fresh.

Sooo... apparently I'll be in Grand Rapids next Tuesday night. Do we have people nearby? I assume I should go to Founders, anywhere else? I may or may not have a huge amount of time (have to participate in a meeting the next morning at 8:30 and need to actually understand the information first), but would love to tick some handshakes if possible!
