    Good morning BAs! Yet another typical summer day here in NW PA - cold and wet. Today's breakfast beer is:

    Carol and Eddie Stoudt makes two beers which are really in tune with my tastes - Fat Dog and Scarlet Lady. I have to say that this version of Scarlet Lady was disappointing. Perhaps the Rum Barrel Aged version will be better, but somehow I doubt it.

    Good morning, all! Jump-starting my day off with a year-old Expedition Stout. Quite mellow, a little alcohol warmth but no rough edges. I'm picturing in my mind how delectable this would be infused with bourbon-soaked oak chips and dried cherries.

    Happy Hump Day BAs! A sunny but chilly day outside here. About to make some breakfast. The plan is for an omelette with garlic, artichoke heart, black olive and gorgonzola cheese. Sides of bacon and toast. To help in this endeavor is a BourbRum BA Plead the 5th. This is the second one I've had from last year. It's held up well.

    Stay cool and drink well Advocates...
