im almost embarrassed to ask this, but I'm sure other people have thought about it... Does anybody have a working theory on what the best time of day to post ISO:FT threads? Personally, if I don't get a bite in the first few hours, I pretty much assume nothing will get done. More than 24, almost no chance. Just wondering if anyone has noticed a time that may get maximum views, therefor a greater success rate. Maybe I need to offer better deals. Maybe it doesn't matter at all.
Put out a generous offer and don't worry about getting an exact dollar amount back for your beer. If you do that I can almost guarantee you'll get more trades done and probably make better long term trading partners and eventually won't even have to post many ISO's if you get in with the right people. Cheers! To answer your question though, no, people will see it when they see it.
After extensive quantitative analysis, I've determined that you are most likely to be successful posting your trade on 11/29 at 6:13:41 PST. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but at least you've got the next year to get the wording of your trade thread perfectly edited.
I find that the weekends usually work best, typically early morning/late afternoon. Most people have more free time on the weekends which translates to more time to peruse around on BA.
I am actually quite the opposite. I typically have a tab open on BA all day at work and go in and check every once in a while, but rarely do i ever open BA on the weekends unless i am in the middle of working a trade.
