Sounds delicious. I rarely buy a 6'er of sculpin (unless I get lucky and can find an original/grapefruit for 11.99) but as soon as I see this one on tap its a no brainer.

Oh ya that's right. Im cheap for not wanting to pay $16 for an average IPA. Nice smart ass reply.

Does "natural pineapple flavors" mean real pineapple? If so, I'd definitely like to try it!

Yes and no. Boiled down it means boiled down there is the real pineapple, usually amongst other things.

I saw it, reached for it and then grabbed something else. Did I make a mistake?

Question.. How is this accomplished brewing wise? Is it all the same base beer with basically "dry hopping" or dry adjuncting into secondary fermentation? It seems a lot like a randal type device is feasible too, or a hop rocket type machine, where base beer can flow through these various ingredients. It almost feels like cheating (ive done it before. The added flavors can easily mask any other positives or negatives from the base beer).

Had this on tap a couple months ago at their home-brew shop. Definitely my favorite Sculpin, the nose was amazing! Can't wait to grab some...albeit for an assuredly high price :slight_frown:

god damnit ballast point. i bet this will be so good, preparing for a repeat of 17 dollar 6packs flying off the shelves faster than stores can stock them and just praying i don't like this enough to be "part of the problem" that allows them to charge such prices for everything they make.

I'm allergic to pineapple. I will live vicariously through BA reviews.

Can't wait to give it a try, but hope it works for me better than grapefruit.
Lots of posts on Sculpin pricing, saw this today at my Costco
    [IMG]
11.25 (ish) for a sixer of GF Sculpin, they also had 22 oz reg Sculpin for 5.99. I think my liver flinched.
