This was mentioned in another thread...so I thought I'd start it off:

    Fav specialty releases:
-Mikhails Odd (Espresso Imperial Russian Stout aged in Bourbon Barrels)
-2013 Southern Charred (Double Bastard aged in Charred Bourbon Barrels)
    -09.09.09 Vertical Epic
    -Matt's Burning Rosids
-Anniv Bitter Chocolate Oatmeal Stout (12th?)
    -Dayman Coffee IPA
-Ken Schmidt / Iron Fist / Stone Mint Chocolate Stout

    Fav year-around releases:
-Smoked Porter (easily my fav Porter, especially as it warms up)
-Ruination IPA (this beer consistently kicks ass...overlooked by too many IPA fans)

The IRS is perfection in my eyes.

That 09 vertical Epic was phenomenal.

I like just about anything they do so it's hard to choose. All the hoppy offerings are great.

The only Stone beers I remember flat-out not liking were:

    · Vanilla smoked porter

    · Oak Aged AB

    · Stochasticity Grapefruit slam IPA

My favorite? Enjoy By. I like the old version of Ruination...had the 2.0 again last night on tap and it was good, but not like the original. Also...AB is always good. I was gifted some Stone Pale recently by my father-in-law...that was so much better than I remember it being.

Arrogant Bastard has a soft spot in my heart because it really helped me get into craft beer. Thanks to their brilliant marketing, I legitimately only bought the beer for the label/story on the back. But after having Xocoveza, that's my favorite from them. The "Enjoy By" series is always fantastic as well.

Funny, the Grapefruit Slam to me was one of my favorite specialties from them. Thunderstruck was amazing also.

Ruination 2.0 and Enjoy By are year-round favorites. As a different one, my wife and I both really like the Cali-Belgique.

Double Bastard is probably my favorite of theirs. I think the diatribe printed on the bottle clinched it for me. Also pretty fond of IRS and Enjoy By, and I thought the 2.0 version of W00tstout was vastly superior to the original.

I'm fairly new the craft beer game, but Thunderstruck was awesome, Imperial Russian Stout and Chai-Spiced Imperial Russian Stout

It's funny - I love Stone, but I don't share everyone's love for Enjoy By. It's just...fine to me. I'd rather reach for the Ruination or the regular IPA.

I don't buy much commercial beer (the vast majority of it is really not any better than what I can brew in my basement)...but with regard to the Stone offerings, I do think that Arrogant Bastard is a gem of a brew and probably my favorite of their range (and it lives up to it's name, too).
    Very good stuff.
