I don't mind hazy ipas. I like Stone ipas , I don't like SA hoppy stuff, there is no similarities in the least. Stone is light years ahead in quality, diversity and marketing, it's not even close.

Pretty much sums up alot of responses I've read on this thread. I mean... man! Isn't this world uptight enough?

Both great. I thought Sorry Not Sorry was fantastic. I'm going to be guilty of breaching thread scope here - but I would imagine Favorite Stone Beer Thread could get some legs. The weird thing, of all of the Stone beers I have tried (and this is most of then over the past 7-8 years), my favorite 2 consist of one that was retired and the other that might be underappreciated because it is considered "standard". Original Ruination and Stone IPA. Would love to see the Original Ruination come back as a special release.

Greg...not that you need my approval...but keep doing what you do. Craft Beer is worth fighting for...supporting independent breweries that make killer beer is worth you being vocal. The industry needs more people like you...and less people cashing out/in once InBev or Constellation come knocking. You've inspired many of us to do the research...and to love the beers. I'll continue to support Stone, Bells, Sierra Nevada, Surly, DogFishHead, Avery, and all the other great Craft Breweries out there. Question: Any chance we could see a Russian River / Stone collab in the near future? Or a Bells / Stone collab?

I am definitely going to try this one. Stone's constant innovation and tweaking, combined with their obvious strengths in brewing and marketing, make them one of my most popular bomber/single bottle options. And I found out in the last few days that Greg also has a pretty good sense of humor. I'm sold!

"Hazy" IPA's are nothing to sneer at. Anyone who had tried and appreciates Treehouse, Trillium, Alchemist, Lawson's etc... Knows the truth. Hazy IPA's are the truth.

If you cold-crash your homebrew IPA and it produces brilliant, commercial-clear beer, then you aren't using enough hops...

I think most BA's get this, but there are handful that can't not see you as the PR guy, and even some other folks that seem a little star-struck (despite being a regular dude, you are kind of a big deal). This tends to turn any thread into Ask-Greg-Anything or "Hey, make more of this beer" somewhat often when you chime into conversation, of no fault to you of course. Should we just do an AMA to demystify you and get that out of the way?

Anyway, I'm glad you do contribute to discussion because I see you as a valuable member of the community. Having said that, if you start a thread about pumpkin beers needing to be year-round or Heady vs Pliny, I will fucking block you in heartbeat.

I thought the first batch of Enjoy By Black was inferior to SSR (at least, as a CDA), but the 01.01.16 batch I'm drinking now seems noticeably improved, and superior to SSR. Not to migrate all the crazy "Enjoy By recipe changes from batch to batch" shit to EBB...

No doubt about that. It seems to be part of what is really keeping the IPA craze going.

Oddly enough, I haven't seen any of the "oh another unoriginal beer here" posts that always seem to pop up in the sam adams threads when they anounce something like this.
