    CT Bev Mart in New Britain said they are still expecting some today and will be charging $19.99 a bottle!

    Place in Bridgeport right around the corner from the Trumbull Mall. Not sure of the name of it as I only stop in when my office orders Chinese Food from the place next door for lunch. When i asked he said it had just gotten delivered and wasn't even in the computer yet. He made a call (to who i assume would be either the beer manager or the owner) and then rang me up about 10 minutes later. He claimed "the distributor told us to do $14.99 for both but we thought that was too much." It shocked me as their other beer is relatively cheap. I considered saying no thanks, but i took one of each for a total of $29 and change and walked out happy/angry hahaha.

    Right on man, thanks for the heads up. That indeed is a bit pricey but seems like that's what shops in CT are trying to do right now.

    Yup, i didn't realize they would be that pricey, my own fault for not looking it up sooner. Drove past Total Wine in Milford yesterday that were selling 1 pp of reg at $9.99 and thought to myself "ha, i am not paying that much for something that retails for around $4.99" thinking it would be the same as last year.

    Am I crazy or are these prices much higher than I've paid in past years? It's still 12 oz bottles right? I'll sit this out I think. Ridiculous.

    New format this year, 16.9 oz bottles. Sold in singles now too. The prices you are seeing are absurd, MA has them for $8.99-$12.99.

    Got Two Barley Wine at $16.99 a bottle. The same store charged $11.99 for the regular.

    Gotcha, thanks. Still seems expensive to me, especially $15-$20 a bottle? I gave up buying bottles that expensive.
