I'm going to have some friends over next week, and want to have a nice mix of holiday beers on hand. What are some of your faves?

Sam Adams Winter Pack - Boston Lager, Winter Lager, Sparkling Ale, Holiday Porter, Chocolate Bock and Old Fezziwig. Best mix of their winter beers since 2012. I bought two of 'em myself.

-Samuel Adams: Winter Classics ( variety 12 pack). SA is not really popular among (most) snobs, but they make some pretty good winter beers, in my opinion.

    -Lagunitas: Brown Shugga

    -Deschutes: Jubelale

    -Sierra Nevada: Celebration Ale

    Celebration is the absolute must.

After that I love Brown Sugga. Then I would have one of the winter warmer spiced beers.

Not a huge fan of holiday/Christmas beers, but I would go with these:

    - Sierra Nevada Celebration
    - Great Lakes Christmas Ale

Celebration is always a given at least a case worth through December. I always drink some Christmas eve especially.

But I have picked up the Sam Adams Holiday Mix so I'll be working through those this year.

    Brown Shugga as mentioned.
