So I have been MIA for a bit...this week has been nuts. Stupid BCBS and work....hopefully things start getting back to normal, but I doubt it.

I did receive the largest box I've ever seen from @campa86 today...had to be 24x24x24 and weighed close to 50lbs. Inside was another three boxes and a bunch of amazing beer.

Well got a huge box on my doorstep from @jawas from my football survivor win, holy shit a huge box! Only had one of these beers plus brittle plus glass!

 

Cracked this one while waiting for some of those fine Cali beers to chill...



I have a feeling there will be some of these making it into boxes soon...

Reminds me a lot of KBS on the nose, but the mouthfeel is very syrupy smooth and the taste is phenomenal. Perfect amount of maple, a nice balance of coffee and a tiny bacon flavor on the finish. This beer is fantastic...very much like CBS. I'd venture to say I enjoy this more than CBS.

 

So I got a Fedex notification about a 5 pound box arriving... it was a little bigger than that. Will probably post details and pRon in the morning so that my wife doesn't end up imprisoned for killing me, but anybody who is friends with me on untappd will get a preview spoiler...

I can't wait to get home from housesitting and fighting a cold so I can try to start digging into my cellar a bit more... 6DoT made me appreciate just opening beers
