What's the over/under on how long until it sells out? 3 hrs?

 

They want $35 for this? They wanted $35 for Battle Priest and some of the bottles were infected. It cost more than that to obtain a Dark Lord and some of those bottles were infected this year. They seem to put the least care into their most expensive beers. I predict that some bottles of Cabra are infected. Go ahead and roll the dice guys.

 

So this is today? or next tuesday?

 

I picked one up for good measure along with another Risgoop. Bottle 155/579

 

Its still giving me the Aug 10th tap/bottle list when I go to the brewpub link, but since people have posted they got their bottle already I can assume it is today. If only I was closer to FFFs. Thanks though!

This sucks I'm going there tomorrow.

 

Haven't seen a ton of hype on it yet, just keep it mum and maybe you'll get lucky and there will be some left. That's what I'm hoping!

 

I mean Robert the Bruce does need a bit more to make it good.

 

Had it tonight. It was good, but not great. Better than the regular BA Robert the Bruce that was on tap a couple weeks ago, but not worth $35.

 

I had mine last night. I thought it was worth the $35. Really nice balance between the Robert, Templeton, and raspberries. They were all present without one overpowering the others.

If the guidance I got from FFF that this was BA for 18 months, then this should be smoother than the normal BA robert the bruce. Granted, this may not be true but it's what I was told a couple of times.

 

That's a steep price for a single 750ml, especially since the regular Robert the Bruce isn't that great. If I had the opportunity, though, I would probably give it a try. Love 3Fs' beers.

 

I'll stick with a $15 dollar 4 pack of Backwoods Bastard.
