Any particular articles you would recommend? I didn't find much about projections or anything like that but maybe I'm just not sure what I'm looking for.

I think the tap room issue is the key for new breweries to be successful. Retailers are struggling with shelf space and inventory turn as it is.

I started to post links in here, but honestly just google "craft beer bubble". It's generally more fun to explore this topic on your own. There are tons of articles on this subject.

    Cheers,

If you hit up any of the newer breweries in Colorado (which still seem to be opening at a fast pace), many of them are coming in with 10 barrel or less systems. They are not trying to be Odell, they are just trying to be their neighborhood bar or a place to enjoy a beer with friends. They do very limited distro, they do not bother canning or bottling (minus some random one offs), and they are happy with that. Not every place needs to be fighting for shelf space to survive.

I definitely see that being where places are headed.

I would think it would have to be a brewpub with guest taps also.....

All I know is there is a lot of new crap beer being added to the shelves.

1.5 bbl is unsustainable as a brewery in TX to me. The amount of work that goes into 3 kegs seems like there is no way to really make a profit.
