    Ugly as hell label (albeit appropriate for the name) but one of the best Pale Ales I've had in a very long time: Shoals Pale Ale by Smuttynose.

    Number 2 this morning which seems to be a morning of macros I've never tasted is Coors... Back in the day I drank bud and Molson Canadian... then I found craft beer so I passed over many major brands for the likes of DDC and unibroue lol[​IMG]

    Good Morning BA's! My wife's best friend came over for dinner last night and when her husband picked her up I shared an Elysian The Fix and a Big Bad Baptist with him. Bozone Plum Street Porter is his favorite beer and they just got married and bought a house so funds are low... always fun to share big beers with appreciative craft drinkers who wouldn't drop $25 on a couple bottles, I'm sure we will be drinking with them more in the future so great night. Also had a couple more just because.

    I have a four or five page paper to type up on the Iran-Contra Affair due Thursday... I could not be procrastinating harder. I need to start and finish it today. I'm not that worried about it though... evidently I'm good at bullshitting papers and getting As.

    This beer's a bit of a letdown, for me. Pretty sweet, not all that roasty, not super heavy -- drinks like a porter.
