2015 Bourbon County in WA?

They were on the floor at JB's on Saturday.

Didn't see any at north TW, but did not visit the Valley TW this time around, so couldn't say.

I was doing some grocery shopping at the Ballard Fred Meyer yesterday so I figured I'd go down the beer aisle. All gone, or at least taken off the floor.

 

When I was at the northside one, they stacked near the customer service desk on the floor. At the Valley TW they were on the customer service desk. Apparently no one can just sell them on the damn shelf.

 

Ah, interesting. I may not have paid close attention to the space next to the CS desk at TW.

As far as JBs goes, when I said they were "on the floor", I simply meant they were any place other than behind the counter, where people were able to help themselves to them without assistance. I saw a bunch of bottles at JBs on the same shelf next to the Avery 12oz sours and the Dogfish Head Higher Math.

I personally love the BCBS and feel it is of the very best BB stouts out there. I was fortunate enough to accumulate a case of both the BCBS and the BCBS BW over time with the help of TW providing empty boxes of each. Would loved to have gotten some Coffee but no luck.

Hey no problem. I have never taken on a beer venture this large before and had to share out of excitement at what I had accomplished by the end of the day.

 

I passed the test. Fred Meyer Lynnwood North of Alderwood Mall had a large floor display of BCBS today and I passed on it. I've had my last.

 

Has anyone seen any lately at Total Wine or BevMo in Vancouver? Or, do either of those have anything good right now, making the 2 hour drive from the Oregon Coast this weekend.

 

I can't speak to Vancouver, but if you are passing through Seattle then Full Throttle bottle shop in Georgetown had a ton of regular BCBS last week. I would call before stopping by though.

P.s.. I have not had coffee yet so it just occurred to me that you are asking about Vancouver WA! Duh! Haha. Surprised you can't find any in the Portland area. Maybe you will strike gold in Vancouver. Good luck!

 

Yeah, there's still some around Portland and the suburbs if you can make a stop here. Regal Rye is on tap at a place in Tualatin, regular and coffee are on in Beaverton. Still seeing bottles at random spots.

 

Vancouver TW got a chunk.

It was limit 2pp and behind the customer service counter, so it may have lasted. I got 2 11/28 (lines aren't my jam) and haven't been back since.

 

Full Throttle has gotten/will get more, according to my sources there. An email blast as well as postings on Twitter and Facebook will drop when they get it sorted out.

 

Good to know. That is where I got the majority of my BCBS this year. Great beer shop

 

Been a week since his post, what's your surmise?

 

Super Deli had 2 each of regular, coffee and barleywine behind the counter. I snagged one of each, so I could leave some for the rest of you guys

 

Nothing at Total Wine in Vancouver yesterday. Not much of anything sought after. Someone snagged the last Abyss just before I got to it.

My big score was a BBA Heathen Epitaph, Iron Fist Dark Days and some Death by Coconut.

 

Over the weekend they had multiple cases of regular, BW, Coffee and Regal Rye.
