Thanks for the info on parking. There was some type of warning in CCB info but based on your information it actually sounds better than driving up and down side streets over by CCB looking for something.

I think that was more of a warning that there isn't free parking. There are some big lots right there for the arena but will cost money to park. Also, if there is a game or concert then it could potentially cause a parking issue but you would more than likely be parked well before an event is starting.

The fairgrounds by the Hard Rock would have been so much better from a attendee perspective. Huge parking lots, space galore inside and outside, many roads in and out, and about 7 miles east of downtown. Not to mention lots of reasonably priced hostels. I'm sure I'm missing something because this would have been beyond obvious, especially now that public facilities are involved. I've lived here over 40 years and know the city like my own neighborhood, but I'll pass on the urban scene, and hit the Tigers spring training game in Lakeland, sipping a $7 Yuengling. Can't have it all.

I've never been to one before and am looking forward to going next year, if I can get tickets. Is it normally sold out quickly and when do tickets usually go on sale?

Tickets usually go on sale to the public sometime in January, though just keep an eye out here and their website to be sure.

Last year was the first year for online only sales. All the initial tickets were in the shopping carts in roughly 30 seconds to a minute. BUT, if you were patient and kept refreshing, some people did not complete their purchases, and every 10 minutes (for about an hour) a limited number of people were getting lucky from those that released out of the carts of other would-be purchasers.

Tickets for El Cat members go on sale on Tuesday, December 15th and last through Tuesday, December 22nd. Ticket sales for the general public will occur soon after that.

Any idea when tickets go on sale? When did they go on last year? Never gone before and really looking forward to going next year

Goes on sale for ECC members starting next Tuesday for one week. From there it will open to everyone shortly thereafter. I recommend being on your computer right when they go on sale if you want to get a ticket. It sold out quickly.

I have a friend who knows some members that aren't going. Are they allowed to purchase a ticket and put someone else's name on it?

No not for ECC members. You can for general tickets but they said they're checking for ECC.

No beer list yet and no total ticket count.
I am guessing most ECC don't care much but would be slightly humorous to find out the beer list only included in bev products and "only" 10000 tickets will be sold.
Honestly, it will probably be outstanding.

13 and 14 were far from "outstanding" as you put it by any metric....this year(15) they nailed it so of course they immediately go on to something different and you just know there will be a lot of problems in the first year offsite....this has the smell and feel of much greed this year on CCB's Part from what we know so far IMO

13 was absolutely fine had a blast. 14 had it's issue with letting people in and the bottle problems but I had a great time.

Per my icon, obvious fanboy here. I've had a great time the last 4 Huna Days including 2014dealing with the masses of asses and getting shutout on bottle purchase. Have to give major kudos to Joey Redner and staff for the way they handled the aftermath. FULL refunds to all who attended AND a makeup batch of bottles including a FREE bottle was way more than needed to make amends for an event that got out of their control.

Can't wait for March, best day of the year!
