@Steeeve, I hear you on drinking pumpkin beers in August. There's just something dead wrong about that.

@tjensen3618 I'll definitely have to try Anchor Humming. Thanks!

GI Harvest Ale gets my vote. Will have to try Founders Harvest this year - if I can find it.

Can't believe I'm the first to mention Founders Breakfast Stout. Ran around to a few different liquors stores around Boston today and was able to grab a case (not all at once). Just had my first sip since last years batch and it's as awesome as I remember. Really looking forward to their Harvest Ale as well. Hopefully that gets here early as well. What an incredible beer!

Oktoberfests! The best part of the fall beer season in my opinion. Ayinger, Sam Adams, Alley Kat (Edmonton brew). They are all full-bodied (perhaps the Sam Adams not so much), malty lagers that just scream for cool, crisp evenings. Vancouver also seems to have a decent number of great pumpkin ales to choose from. Locals, Steamworks, Granville Island and Howe Sound, make amazingly flavourful and warming pumpkin ales.

Fall is usually when I start breaking into the cellar as well after drinking cooler, refreshing ales for the summer. A couple bourbon-barrel stouts (namely Driftwood Singularity), an Aventinus Weizen Eisbock vertical (2006-2008), North Coast Old Stock, Westveleteren 12 and countless more. Fall is indeed a great time for beer drinkers.

    Founders Breakfast.
I do like my fair share of Pumpkin Ales, Punkin and Pumking inparticular.
I may have to track down a few Autumn Maple this year, it may be my favorite.
Oktoberfest do not really do anything for me however.

I love pretty much everything that's been mentioned (Autumn Maple and Punkin!), but the one I'm always excited for is Abita's Pecan Harvest. A good solid beer (leaning towards a brown ale?) and is great for cooking.

After hearing all the rage for FBS, I'm hoping I cant find a four pack this fall. Not a big pumkin beer fan, but Pumking is something I wanna give a try. Also can't wait for Narragansett Fest, a damn solid Octoberfest offered in tall boy cans. Bring on the fall.

Great beer, but doesn't remind of autumn.

Pumking is the strongest pumpkin pie flavor beer. You should go for DFH Punkin if you havent tried it. Lot more subtle.
