With no limit on the crowlers and $25 each, how many are people actually buying?

I left. Dude in the front of the line when I got there was buying 25 crowlers. Line was way long.

Wow. Either he's incredibly thirsty or he pre-traded for every whale he's ever wanted.

They had 20 prefilled when the door opened. Everyone kept saying 1 keg so I didn't grab too many. After hearing the stories now I should have grabbed a bunch more

What happened to Colorado being chill with good beer releases? You're acting like Chicago, California, Texas and the rest of the beer world, hahaha

Did anyone get to try the beer, or were they too busy filling Crowlers to do tasters?

I think you made a good choice.

I'm kind of shocked they didn't put limits on it. They have enough experience now with BA Ten Fidy releases to know how crowded it gets at the Weasel, and filling crowlers takes time.

Apparently it's still on. I got a buddy there who's grabbing me some though.

..the only time it gets crowded at the Weasel for such releases is when they announce them. ba fidy has been on tap, with the option of crowlers to go, several times without a PSA from OB. perhaps they like the attention.

I was surprised they announced it last night.

Did grab a taste after buying my Crowlers, to see if i just got ripped off and should sell to the people still waiting back in line ;-). It was great, IMO. Better than reg BB Ten Fidy, and that's a high bar! May need to change my answer in the "Best local beers of 2015" thread!

Got there at 9:30 and was 5th in line but didn't know about the low estimated supply until just now. Got through quickly with buying the pre-poured Crowlers. Left at around 11:00 and glad to see they were still pouring and others got their share. Didn't know so many familiar CO BAs were there too, but guess I should have

I am confused. The Hotbox I have had (twice) is thin and watery, so I wouldn't say it's "imperial" in any way. Do they make 2 versions?

Where did you get that? The description on the keg (picture) says Columbian coffee beans aged in HH barrels to make cold brewed and then blended with HH BA Ten Fidy

Maybe they were blending after the first keg????

Edit: Not sure why the twitter link didn't show up when I was replying

I would encourage OB to place limits, with the option of getting back in line, in the future. Standing and waiting for an hour while 2 customers in front of me got about 50 crowlers between the two of them was just stupid.
