Iron Triangle Brewing, which made noise this spring for the sheer audacity its bringing to the neighborhood, is closer than ever to opening, and it’s going to change the way people drink in the Arts District.

Will the beers people receive be different from the one's they order?

"It's a bottle share playa" one of the best lines I heard all year!

Not to besmirch a place further before it opens, but between the pedigree of a brewer from Pizza Port and one from Maui, I think Arts District Brewing looks like the place I'd more likely visit.

I wonder how many of those taps will be guest taps to start if they open with an included restaurant (that's what they need to serve guest beer a la Rare Barrel serving food, right?).

I mentioned in my post that Arts District Brewing looked like the winner for me between the two for this reason. Did you ever go on that trip up to HPB? Hope you had a good time.

I think only the folks on Beer Advocate know or care about that.

I'm surprised that doesn't have "SPONSORED CONTENT" somewhere on there. It reads more as an ad than it does an actual article. Still no date. It doesn't say much more than that equally sponsored content looking article from eater. A lot of the bluster is shared there with the whole "Gonna change the L.A. SCENE!" nonsense.

Less talk and more MAKIN DAT NOISE.

    Also,
This will not win you much praise. Especially when Arts District is down the street making solid beers of a variety out of the gate.

"Built to be accessible", “approachable dark beer” and "obligatory".
    Yup, I'm lining up now....

Like I said in the old thread, I would never wish bad juju upon a new business owner, but you need something to put butts in the seats when you start out (especially with an experienced brewer). Those words up there in quotes don't put butts in the seats.

Honestly I think those words do. Although 2015 will quickly be behind us craft beer is still the trendy thing to do. I have little doubt in my mind that the place will be packed with those hopping on the trendy train. Sure those of us on BA may stop in at some point in order to make sure that they are not good (I know I personally hit as many breweries as I can so I have a better ability to call something as failing), but there will still be the crowd that goes there constantly because they are friends, locals that don't prefer the styles other breweries are doing, or just people that don't know any better.

But based on the things being done, the money put in, and the location I would not be shocked if around a year he sells to big beer and really his plan all along was to build a StA-esque type of brewery.

    As Southpark has taught us:
    Start Up
    Cash In
    Sell Out
    Bro Down

For a brewery funded by dispensary money, the names of the first three beers certainly lack all shred of creativity and imagination.
