Does anyone know how Firestone 16,17,18 are drinking right now. All have been cellared correctly and I am having a tasting soon and want to know what I am in for.

Drank 18 the other night... Same deal, I bought it fresh and have properly cellared it. I love all the FW box beers, but IMO they start to go down hill after 3 years so the fact that you're drinkin that 16 now is probably a good idea. Cheers!

Thanks for the heads up. Looking forward to it. Anyone had 16 or 17 recently?

Had 16 on tap about a month ago. Still superb. But, I can't seeing it improving any from this point. I'd drink it now.

Just did the same lineup a couple months back. All are drinking great - the 16 started as everyone's favorite, but as they warmed the 18 was preferred.

I actually had 14-18 on tap a few months ago, along with 13 out of a bottle, and they still hold up well. The four of us that drank them probably all agreed that 17 was the best, but 16 was still good. While 13-15 were good, the later versions were better.

I have a bottle each of 14-19 that we will be cracking in October for my 40th in 2016, so I'm definitely looking forward to those.

17--I had one bottle fresh, and then had sat on another bottle until a few weeks ago. It was excellent, and noticeably improved over fresh. I wouldn't sit on it anymore--it really was delicious.

16 is still tasting great - had one not that long ago. 17 and 18 are still within their prime. You should have a lot of fun with those!
