CO Barrel Aged Stouts

OB is responsible for this mess by posting "limited supplies" and "it's gonna go quick", then posting a photo of a 5 gallon keg.

 

And then not telling us / making an announcement that there was indeed plenty as we watch boxes of dozens of crowlers being hand delivered to tables ... :-)

 

Haha I wish I coulda seen those guys faces when you went outside and called them out. One of the funnier beer related experiences today. Cheers man!

 

I just want 2 crowlers, one for me and one for my buddy. Will there be some left tomorrow if I do something irresponsible and drive down there?

I spoke with somebody from OB that definitely knows the situation. He said they had 33 kegs initially. He said they still have about 5 kegs left.

 

Ha! Great to run into you guys again! I was standing (I believe) right behind you guys (taller guy, green wool coat) with my buddy. Loved it when eawolff99 walked outside to call out the guy who pulled some b.s. shenanigans! Aside from the beer, the other highlight of the experience. Helped to suffer through an inordinately long wait ahead of too many %$#@!* mules with you guys...definitely lightened the mood quite up a bit. Hope to run into you both again sometime.

Avery's vanilla bean stout drops tomorrow.. Looking forward to this one!

 

They had some at noon today, but I would call and see what the situation is like now. I somehow managed to escape back to the springs without hitting bad weather, but it looks like things are getting much worse now.

A couple BAs in the 'Springs are gonna be well pleased.

 

Oh man - just had a huge tasting with buddies - opened a crowler of BA Java Fidy ... Anyone else getting butter here? Ouch - brutal to the guys holding 30 ...

(^^ Obviously kidding - we thought we were being funny posting as we drank this as the last beer of the tasting ... Such an amazing brew!)

 

Since I'm still on self-imposed probation I wanted to make sure to clarify that I was just kidding :-)

Man, cannot imagine the the level of (horribly karmic) jaw drop that would've occurred with the 30+ Crowler crowd had this brew pulled a C3 Silva.

However, have to agree....this #$%& is nectar!
