Five o'clock somewhere?

    Yeah, we’ve all suffered this cliché before, but the real question is: When is your five o’clock? In other words, when do you usually crack your first beer of the day?

    As someone who reserves beer drinking for Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays only (vacations and holidays aside), I usually open that first beer around 3:30 or so each day – I work from home, so I modify my Friday schedule to be done for the week around that time.

    Well, I meant p.m., but I know there are are good number of second and third shifters around these parts.

    Depends on how I feel. I usually don't have a beer until I get home from work (6:00 pm onward) on a work night if I feel like having one (which is usually not).

    On a weekend, it can be any time of day. Or I might not have one.

    As a university student, I usually feel comfortable cracking open my first beer as soon as I'm done with with homework that require memorization, or papers that are due the next day. For the most part, that entails having a beer after dinner.

    Occasionally, I have a session IPA, or a lager with lunch, but that's not the norm.

    On weekends, I usually crack open my first beer while watching Premier League in the morning. Which, at times, entails drinking as early as 6:45 in the morning.

    I like drinking beer while writing essays, but not while studying.

    I can't drink and do anything else at the same time. So my 5 o'clock is when I have everything I need to do done. Usually around 7.

    Usually around 7pm, anything earlier than that and i finish that beer too early and end up drinking another one. Though on Fridays and Saturdays that goes out the window and i would say i usually open my first one at 5pm

    Usually later in the day due to work. On a day off I've been known to have a breakfast beer or three...

    Whenever I'm ready for a beer. Generally not before 11am-noonish, I'm not much of a morning person.

    I have an 8-5 job, but I also have kids and do some woodworking on the side. So I wait until after the kids are in bed and after I'm done doing anything involving a blade. I'll sand or paint/stain with or after a beer, but I like having 10 fingers and intend on keeping it that way.

    Vacation it's 5 o'clock all day, but during my busier times of work I usually crack a beer around 4-5 pm when it's slow, usually the winter months, I can crack a beer around 1 pm.

    When I feel like it, but don't take that out of context. I have responsibilities like anyone else, but I won't let the time of day define whether or not I should have a beer. Football games start at 1pm on Sundays. I see nothing wrong with that.

    some lazy weekends I'll pop a bomber of something 9-10 am ish have lunch and if I need to do house work well grab a can of something and start getting it done.
