Hey guys I am looking for blenderies like Gueuzerie Tilquin or Backacre. People that do not brew but rather blend. I know many brewers blend but I am looking for the ones who specifically concentrate their efforts on blending not brewing... Thanks!

In Belgium: De Cam, Hanssens, and Oud Beersel. Not sure about other countries.

Pretty sure I just read on Beachwood's site that they blend their own brews, gonna read that again

Funk Factory Geuzeria in Madison, Wisconsin is a blendery in the vein of Tilquin and the rest of the Belgian blenderies. Their beer is also amazing and much better than the sources of the wort that goes into the finished products.

On the funk factory website they talk about brewing their own lambic at Oso Brewing...

Near you, in CT, there are two places that might not perfectly qualify, but would probably still interest you. B United, the importer, has their Zymatore Project, where they play around with beers in their portfolio. Also - OEC brews their own beer I believe, but their blending seems to be a huge part of what they do. Maybe it's mainly what they do... I don't know. Someone with more intimate knowledge of these two operations would have to chime in.

Casey Brewing and Blending in Colorado doesn't obviously just brew. A lot of blending seems to go on as well. Excellent results.

OEC sours are on point for sure, I can't find B United in the database here can you provide a bit more info on them? Also Zymatore Project points to Harviestoun in the UK

Casey beers are great but they brew their own stuff so that's not what I am looking for... Oak Theory is awesome

The Zymatore beers are listed here under the original brewer - not under B United. If you search for the term Zymatore in the beer database, they will come up. Harviestoun is one of the brands that B United imports, and they are just one of the many brewers that have given B United their blessing to play with their toys.

That is what I did and only 3 came up and they were from Harviestoun

It depends on how you look at it. There is not a single piece of brewing equipment at Casey, the wort is brewed elsewhere (Roaring Fork) and then brought in. I honestly don't know how involved Troy is in the brewing though, I am certain he is responsible for the recipe/grain bill/etc, but does he actually go there to brew it himself? I don't know. He has been very clear that his passion is for blending and EVERYTHING released thus far (with the exception of Seasons Past which was a single barrel of East Bank) has been blended.

Just out of curiosity, why does whether they brew what they blend matter to what you're looking for?

O.E.C. does brew their own beer, yes. And I believe the Zymatore Project is at O.E.C seeing as B. United Int. owns the brewery and they are right next door.
And they both do a lot of blending. B United with other beers, O.E.C. with their own.

I am just curious to find more products from people who focus on the blending aspect. So far it seems like only Tilqin and Backacre (to my knowledge) have ventured in this direction and I wonder if there aren't others, that's all

You're welcome. They have a long list of currently maturing barrel aged beers and blends now (you have to peruse the site) but most of them are O.E.C. beers.
Until you mentioned it and I looked into it, I thought Zymatore was part of O.E.C....technically it is but it predates the brewery. I learned something about beer over coffee. Thanks.
