I'm so fortunate to live a stones throw from Michigan and have access to Short's. This is such a solid coffee stout that is loaded with fresh dark roast and a velvety smooth feel to it. It's undoubtedly one of my favorites from them, and perfect while kicking back on this gloomy day.

Greetings and Happy Hump Day. I'm having a For Pete's Sake! Imperial Chocolate Peanut Butter Porter. Interesting brew. To go along with the PB Porter I've got the groovy psyche sounds of The Peanut Butter Conspiracy playing on the stereo.

Peace and love BAs, Peace and love

After a long day of washing baby bottles, baby laundry, and poopy diapers. I deserve something good! Mighty tasty indeed.

DC beer!! Specifically DC Brau Stone of Arbroath - scotch ale with almost a year on it. Still a bit surprised this hasn't suffered too much from age. Maybe some light oxidation, but also an accent on the peat/light smokey notes from what I recall (more on that to follow).

This time last year the Caps were somewhat languishing in, at best, mediocrity (I think; I should fact check my memory before I start posting - it gets affected by beer). A late season run into the playoffs made the year useful, at least.

This year... the team looks better all around than any Caps team I've seen. Here's to continued growth and hopes that Holtby stays healthy all season. Cheers, hump day drinkers!!

Pretty good haul from the beer run today. Get to try Ballast Point Victory At Sea and Dark Horse PT5 for the first time  Also grabbed the Odd Side gift box. 2 Citra PA, 2 Bean Flicker, and the mystery was a season-appropriate The Merry Elf. Think I'll start with the VaS, an impy porter should mellow me out quite nicely.

Both those beers are Delicious. That Cuivre though, I would slam that 750 ml in a New York Minute!
