I'm I know the feeling. I had a sigh of relief when I saw that my box was on a delivery truck. I always worry that someone will pop it open at one of the transfer stations. Looks like it'll be just fine, and we should have some fresh Pron today.
Warning shot is set to arrive tomorrow by USPS.... actually warning shot may even be an an overestimation. Perhaps this analogy better describes it: Tomorrow's arrival is to the rest of what's coming as a spitball is to an ICBM. I'm not leading by example very well here guys, and I ask that you all (especially my target) will let me off the hook a bit... I'm hoping once the final payload has arrived all will be forgiven.
Nice work! A well researched box, by the sounds of it and overkill on the swag! 3 cool glasses? And the Frisbee is a first! Cheers!
A late #VBS from @Smarty_Pints . Bad Boy was a killer pour, thanks for the tick! Wife and I really enjoyed it....
#GIF box to land tomorrow if looks like.... It headed east from me.... My NYE LIF Newbie box landed today on the porch of @Homebrew
With my travel schedule, I'll be having my box sent later and will post pics hopefully the first week in Jan. Don't forget about me while Im gone, lol.
Apparently my Target wanted to pick up at FedEx location.... 5 business days for pick up.... Hope everything made it safely.... Fe man
I arrived home today from running errands (I've been off this week) to see the box I've been waiting for on the porch. "It's here!", I said to my wife, with appropriate (and expected) eye roll from her. We'll start with these guys: 1- Sin Mint Temptress by Lakewood Brewing- I've been wanting to try a mint stout, and I've heard great things about this one! 2- Spirit Animal by Blue Owl Brewing- ironically after the eye roll earlier, my wife instantly claimed this one as hers. After seeing the rest of the box, I felt this was a pefect sacrifice beer. Although, I will be sure to grab a couple sips to check it out! 3- Heavy Machinery by Austin Beerworks- looks like a great local IPA I've never had. I'm excited to try it! 4- A Pale Mosaic by Hops and Grain- another great local IPA 5- Haven Mead- I'm stoked to try this. My brothers and I raise bees as a hobby, and we have considered making a mead. Next the beers on the "wants list": 6- Alpine Nelson- I had a tasting pour once, and I've always wanted to try it again for real. Great tick off the wants! 7- Yellow Rose by Lone Pint- you Texas boys can't stop talking about this beer! I traded for it once and it arrived broken, so I'm stoked to get a bottle! 8- Sucaba by FW- HUGE want. AND THEN THE BIG BOYS! 9- Black Metal by Jester King- A farmhouse imperial stout? WHAT?? I'm literally drooling... 10- Dichotomous (Estival) by JK- I had the Hibernal brewed with beets. This one is with melons, and sounds fantastic. I wasn't as into sours when I first tried the beet version. But I'm really into them now! 11- Noble King by JK- a farmhouse saison; again, right up my alley. (Oh, and wife is sniffing around these guys now, too). I'm gonna have to share. 12- Foudreweizen by JK- a farmhouse version of Live Oak Hefeweizen. This. Sounds. Amazing. Swag- Jester King Tulip glass, a perfect addition. and more swag: a foudreweizen shirt an Arial Rubicite shirt (I'm an anesthesiologist, so the drawing is perfect for me!) And the entire collection: Killer, amazing, exciting box @Bristopher89! Thank you so much!
You are most welcome, dude. I knew I was hitting a few wants and then everything past that were things that I would want Texas to be known for. Blue Owl Brewing is my new favorite. They're still getting their canning line to 100% but soon their Sour Cherry Stout should be available in six packs and I will be hard pressed to ever drink a different beer.
Does it have a decent cherry flavor to it ?? We might have to set something up, the few cherry stouts I've had were well...... Lackluster
