I saw a 4-pk today of high gravity Dogfish Head beer (the kind that usually sells for $8-11 per 12oz bottle) being sold in 4-pks at $14 per 4-pk. At the time, I wasn't sure if the beer had changed price or something, so i only bought one 4-pk and didn't say anything. Afterwards, I verified that this is a beer that should really be $9 per bottle.

I once purchased 5 bottles of Love Child for $5 a piece. My friend bought the first 6 and told them it was under priced, but they didn't believe that beer would be more than $5 a bottle and insisted that it was fine. #jackpot

The location I see this happen matters in my decision. Large chain store, I don't mind so much. But if it was a smaller place, or a place I have a personal relationship with I would probably tell someone.

Tell them it's mispriced. If they insist that it's not then I'll buy a bunch.

Let someone know and like @Scott17taylor I will buy 1 bomber or sixer. It might make a difference as I know the beer guys and or owner of the few I go to.

When my local grocery store (large chain, not a mom and pop) had BP Big Eye for $6.99/sixer I thought it was mislabeled, other stores around here sell it for $11-12. I bought a couple sixers and left one on the shelf. Months later and they still have it for $6.99...it's not old stock either.

Oh man, if any of you live near the Target on Elston and Logan in Chicago...
    1) I've looked at my receipt and been charged for a 6-pack of Bud several times for beer that should be twice that, Union Jack comes to memory. My personal favorite was the bomber of Lagunitas' High Westified that they sold to me for $4, didn't have the heart (or time really) to go and clean them out.
    2) on the other hand, they dump off season stuff CHEAP near the front. Total trap for the inexperienced because they're selling what should be decent, but expired, beer

If I ran the store I'd want someone to tell me if there were a mistake in pricing. So, I'd tell someone at the store.

    Not complicated.

I was at a big chain and they had Fantome marked at $7.99 a bottle. I cleared the shelves. On the other hand at a local place they had some stuff mismarked and I pointed it out to the manager.

I just had this happen at my favorite bottle shop with a Brooklyn release. They had it for $9.99 when it should have been more, about $21 (or at least it was everywhere else I had seen it). The folks there have always been good to me, throwing in a bottle here and there when I come in. I felt it was only right to point out to them that the price seemed to be labeled wrong. They thanked me by selling me a bottle at the marked price, before adjusting it. I thought that was pretty decent of them, I expected nothing from them for pointing it out.

Well, this actually happened and its the opposite. I bought a couple 500ml bottles of Barrel Aged Haw River when it first came out at a local shop. I paid $14.99 a piece. Pretty pricey, but I had heard it was awesome (it was), so I went for it. Went back 2 weeks later and the shop owner told me he mispriced them and should have been $9.99. He gave me a bottle to make up for it. So, I definitely would tell him if he mislabelled his bottles.

I would, and have, told clerks when something is off. I bought a high-priced mix 6 (lots of high-end bottles) but the clerk went to ring it as the sixer box. I corrected him. As others have said, I'd hope they'd do it for me if I were the clerk.

And if I didn't want to buy the beer at the rightful price, I should skip it.

That said, if the clerk in question ignores me, I will take the underpriced beer and move on. I'm not going to argue about it.

I did just this when I bought the North Coast Belgian Trio gift box (including 2 glasses) for $9.39 at a grocery store. I asked someone "are you sure this is right? I think this is way too low." and that person said, "that's the price" so I bought one, leaving one for someone else.

I checked "Jackpot", "Tell someone at the store" and "buy some."

I've got a grocery store in walking distance that keeps pricing Central Waters Barrel-Aged 4-packs under $10. I don't mind.

I would buy a bottle or 2 but wouldn't go crazy and buy out their stock all at once. Not because I'm a saint.... It's because they might continue to sell it at that price. Reminds me of a bar that I played at in the 90's. They had a vending machine that sold snacks and cigarettes. One day the owner accidentally put packs of Marlboro's in the 60 cent candy bar row. Everyone that figured it out only bought only a pack or two. And then the owner FILLED IT UP AGAIN ! We kept it going for a while until the stupid doorman came in on his day off and cleaned out the machine !

This happened to me for the first time yesterday. Went to a local wine restaurant that also stocks a decent amount of craft beer. They must have just gotten a shipment of some Jackie O's brews and someone accidentally mixed the prices around on the Brick Kiln barleywine and its barrel aged counter part. So the normal Brick Kiln was priced $11.99 and the bourbon barrel version was $5.99...

I was conflicted but BA Brick Kiln is one of my all time favorite beers, and the beer budget's pretty tight right now, so I bought 2 bottles and felt bad kinda about it afterwards. If it's not fixed by the next time I go in there I'll probably point it out to someone.

You must have really liked the guy paying you to play at his place...

I ran into this the other day at one of my usual shops. They rank a mixed six for the price on the random sixer box used to hold the bottles. I think it rang up for like $8 when my total was actually supposed to be $20.

I told them, because I'm not a thief.

I came in here just to bring up this store. I recently moved to the area and live right down the street, my jaw dropped when I saw their prices on some things. In just the past month I've picked up Ten Fidy 4-packs, Blackout Stout 4-packs and a Barrel Aged Arrogant Bastard 6-pack for $8.99 each...as well as Grapefruit Sculpin and Victory at Sea 6-packs for $11.99 each. Pretty sure the beer buyer has just gone rogue and orders whatever the hell he wants, even if it isn't in the system...everything I've bought rings up as something else haha.
