In my experience, reporting the beer seems to have no effect. I have reported out of date beers to Stone over and over and there they sit, week after week after week.

Probobly a month ago. I spot it when fresh and take advantage of every couple months. Right now it's sitting at most grocery stores with the enjoy by November. Stone is my favorite brewery though. Still got a case of enjoy by that I've been, well, enjoying. Always got Stone in the fridge.

It's always great, and I hope it never changes to 2.0 :grimacing:.

I'm in the same boat with freshness, and would get it more often if it was fresher. It seems like I have one in my hand every week at the store, but only wind up buying it a couple times a year.

Im somewhat suprised freshness is a factor, when i was in illinois about 6 months ago, was never an issue. same here in NOLA, at least at the grocery store i visit

A local pub near me always had Stone IPA along with some other classics like 90 Minute and the like. I still enjoy the hell out of the classics and get them regularly.

Does 'Enjoy by 12/25/15 IPA' count?

Incredibly i´ve had some of their beers as fresh as they can get (they told me so) on tap here in northern Spain, so thanks to the guys from Naparbier and Manneken Beer. Some of them were more average but the IPA, Ruination and Arrogant Bastard were all truly outstanding.

first enjoyed this beer last November and HATED it but i was just getting into craft IPAs.

around February my palate started to LOVE IPAs. enjoyed Stone IPA again in september or october of this year and of course LOVED it. it's an amazing beer. i love Ruination, Delicious IPA, etc from their IPA line as well.

Did a Thursday Throwdown with it a few months back and found I enjoyed it pretty well. Tending towards liking regular IPAs (which are now in that 6-7% range) over IIPAs nowadays, and this one delivered with a clean malt profile and a strong, but not killer, hops bitterness that made it refreshing overall.

That said, I haven't bought more since then :slight_frown:. Fall/winter seasonal season has eaten me up.

4 days ago. Although the few that I had left in my fridge had Oct best by dates so I experimented. Still a solid example. Just too many crazy good ones right now.

I'd drink it far more often - but up here in Canada and our dollar being so low the cost of American beer is getting hard to swallow.

I've been drinking lots of Canadian craft beer lately, mostly from BC.
