Wow, just had my first ever Abrasive tonight (10/28 batch). This stuff is fantastic. Had nearly all of the East Coast big guns as far as IPAs go and I'd probably put Abrasive over all of them except Julius.

Had Abrasive earlier this week, I loved it. Today had one after a different IPA, Abrasive tasted terrible, so malty. I know previous beer drank can impact the next beer, but this is extreme. Any chance I got a bad can?

Have not heard of any off cans, this fall Abrasive has been great , but i did like the 10/28 batch better than the 11/04 i just bought

    Is 11/23 the latest batch?

are we going to see another batch in Iowa? (I'd think and hope so!) Anyone see anything down here more recent than 10/20?

12/something seems to be the newest. Not sure where it all went though.

I need to order another case from France44 I guess, almost out cans...yes, I live in VA, and order this beer none stop when it's available...great to throw in as extras for trades too. One of my favorite beers of all time. I need to make a trip to MN to visit.

Someone help find this man! Apparently he's LOST amongst pallets of Abrasive! I'd suggest drinking your way out.

For this 2IPA, its one that just does not have to be the freshest , cant say that about many in the style , had an 11/11 2night it was so good

Drinking a 10/27 and a 11/23 and there is a big difference. Either there was a different in batches or it definitely fades with time.

I agree. Had a late October can a couple nights back. Still a good beer but was missing the expected "pop" for lack of a better word.

10/28 still tastes awesome to be but haven't had any except 10/20 and 10/28

Make sure to check the dates, I was there on Sat - 1 stack was 10/23, 1 stack was 11/11, and another was the 12/2.

IL has the 12/1 shipment. I've gone through nearly a case already

The 11/23 batch was far superior to the 10/28. Smells like tangerines, ripe mango and citrus and more opaque, just delicious.

If you still see any October around, avoid.

It's fallen off badly. Had one last night and it was just kind of blah and malty. It was excellent fresh.
