12 Days of XMAS BIF

So, @ohyeahitsmuff dropped a couple sweet boxes on my porch this week! Sorry for the late posts, but here's Johny!

This was basically a box full of extras, and there's a lot of them! Plus, I love cans, especially big cans.


In addition to all those sweet cans, there's glassware and a bottle for day 7


And then there was this, a box full of bottles for the 12 days (can't believe it's starting next week!) I haven't even taken them out of the shipper, but hoping to find some time to do so this weekend, though keeping them in the box until the day of does make life easier...



Overall, and awesome box, can't wait to start enjoying them!

 

@jawas crushed my porch yesterday with 3 Christmas boxes. Our house is already jam packed with boxes since our daughter is moving back in with us, so the Mrs is none too pleased with another three huge boxes.

I quickly looked through the boxes last night to ensure everything was intact and safe. This morning I got everything all unpacked and was able to survey the porch crushing. Wow, there is a lot of beer here.

Here are the extras. Yes, all of these are just extras:


Lot's of dark and a nice mix of other styles. You can see that the Mad Elf didn't last long. I already busted into that one. The wife has already dig into the peanut brittle. Also are a couple new titties. The Cape May IPA glass that I have seen Rob sending around to everyone. #datglass#2?? And a beautiful Kane glass that is the same shape and size as the Locals glass. Possibly a sign of stuff to come in my 12 days beers? Anticipation is killing me and I am not the patient type. I'm anxious to break into that Westvleteren 12 too, I've never had the pleasure of trying it before. These are almost all new ticks for me and I'm going to enjoy every single one of them.

Another "little package" from @whyteboy003 landed on my porch yesterday afternoon. I had a rare date-night with the wife last night and the babysitter was over by the time I had a chance to open the box, so pics had to wait until this morning.

Not only does Matt send an unsolicited 12DOX box so that I can join in the fun, he HAMMERS my porch with an outstanding box of awesome FL brews, wants and perma-wants! (Prairie Noir, BA Legion, my first J. Wakefield, a 13th DOX beer, WOJA (my absolute favorite IPA ever) and Due South Oaked IPA (if this is anything like WOJA, then I might crap my pants) and a ton of other awesome brews, most of which are new ticks!)

Oh yeah. He made it al fit into a 12x12x12 box. Fukin wizard!

Matt you are insane. And Awesome! And insane!

 

A couple massive boxes arrived yesterday from @core42. I kept unpacking, and unpacking, and unpacking until I had all of this...





Yeah, that's one day with FIVE BEERS... I guess I should put in my sick time now. Extras look great, have been very impressed with all of the Oddside and Dark Horse I've had and these are all new to me.

3 boxes on truck for delivery to Enola PA. FedEx was in a big hurry, they weren't supposed to land till Tuesday.

@Kyle2k10 told me the brown wrapped one was an extra that needed to be consumed immediately. So thank goodness we got our first snow fall of the year on the day we decided to smoke meat and drink beer

There are no easy days. In kinda sorry for what I have done. You can feel free to start your 12 days on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day but your day 1 beer should not be solo'd. Actually I don't think any of your days should be solo'd. I have done a few of these solo and had a pretty bad hang over. Good luck.

Last box en route. Supposed to arrive Tuesday. Didn't send another glass, but I hope the extras I sent make up for it. Also, forgot to mention your drinking starts Christmas Eve. Day one is in the box on the way. If it doesn't make it just roll on to day 2. Everything should still line up. And good luck sir.

Awesome, thanks @rspauldi! I think a little of this made it to our area but I didn't bother buying any, I rarely buy anything for my self to drink and just rely on my "wants" list and my BIF family to take care of me. Thanks Russ for another want!

@core42 this is the first time my club has done it. So I'm the 1st recipient.

 

Looks like my 2 boxes from @Coldstorage aren't going to make it here today, they still show delivery before the end of the day today but one was in MO yesterday and the other in IL so will wait until Monday as long as there safe upon arrival it's no problem.
