We're moving to a small town called Mebane. I guess it's about a half-hour West of Raleigh. I've heard the beer selection is great. It was great in our neighbor to the South, Colorado, but knowing I'm staying in great beer territory is definitely a plus.

 

Officially on vacation for the next five days. I'm drinking another gift from a co-worker. I haven't had any Samuel Smith beers in quite some time, and this Organic Chocolate Stout is really good.

I wish I could find this stuff fresh...I always see it on the shelves here dated back in April...And...really wishing I'd see ANOTHER ONE once in a while.

Well my beer fridge(s) are fully stocked and ready for the holidays but I couldn't resist. I love a good Lager and these Saucony Creek beers I have tried (Hop Suplex) have been good and interesting. Looks like these people want to do everything out of the box. This Kutztown Amber Lager- subtly smoked with Kutztown Ring Bologna is no exception.
Unusual and pretty freakin good! PS my brain still has to sing the Oscar Meyer commercial when I spell that word.....

Good afternoon, BA's! With the Christmas shopping errand for the group home successfully completed, it's time to kick back with some 'Beans while I contemplate wrapping this stuff. A couple more of these and I should be just about ready. Or not, as the case may be.

Merry Christmas BAs. I had an awful day trying to get home yesterday from Miami. My first flight was delayed over 3 hrs so the 2nd had to be rebooked. I boarded the 2nd only to make it almost to the runway, the dreaded PA announcement that we were retuning to the gate because we had steering problems. A wait for them to try & fix it & then a gate change to board a different airplane. I finally landed at my home airport 12 hours from my start time, I think I could have driven it in that. Now I'm sipping on this, thinking it was going to be a DP because it's been in my refrigerator for at least 2 years or longer & it gushed when I opened it, it's really not too bad.
