What are the beers that you didn't like the first time you tried them, but after giving them 1 or more shots, you changed your mind on them and now like or love them?

Personally, I did not like the first two bottles I had of Wasatch Doppelbock, but after the third one, I started to like it more and more. *NOTE: I did not drink the first two or even the third bottle on my first drinking session. I usually drink 2 or 3 beers, but I mix the beers up.

Another one was SN: Blindfold Black IPA.

    How about you guys?

I never was a fan of brown ales until I discovered the one from Dogfish Head. Now I have tried others and have found many that I now like.

Not really a beer but a style for me. I was not a fan of Saisons at all. Then I went to Sante Adairius Rustic ales with a friend of mine and it opened me up to them.

Witbiers. I used to find the orange and coriander disgusting. They are still not my favorite, but I can appreciate a well made one now and then.

Is blindfold available? One of my favorite BIPAs.

It's really damn good! I don't think it is. I tried it when the 4-Way IPA 12 pack was available earlier this year, but I haven't seen it since.

In 2014, I really didn't care for Dark Penance. I thought I'd give it another try this year and I've grown to really enjoy it.

Velvet Hammer by Peticola's, an American Strong Ale. It's fairly hoppy and many, like IPA's, I don't care for that much hops. That's why there are so many, like many other things that we do find we like in our niche of things in life, women, beer, whiskey, tequila, food, cars and music to name a few. Cheers Y'all !!

Did not really find Troëgs Mad Elf that great the first time I had it but I enjoy it now.
Also kind of funny that the first 30x I had SA Boston Lager I never really enjoyed it much but when I have it now once in a while it goes down well and I appreciate its great qualities.

I can't really think of one beer in particular, but there are a couple of styles that have grown on me:
Saisons/Farmhouse Ales: Had a problem with that "barnyard funk" aroma and sour to rotten taste I was getting when first trying them; now when they're done right? I can't get enough!
Sours: Was like drinking watered down vinegar; now I look for them and keep trying them out!

My first bourbon barrel beers were quite bourbon forward, so I got turned off on them. Lately I've had a couple that were less bourbony and I'm warming to them as it were. I like Backwoods Bastard and BCBS as they have some bourbon presence, but not overpowering the other tastes.

Summit Horizon Red IPA. I'm actually drinking it now. It has a bit of that onion vibe, but it's not out of control like some of the DIPA's. Some people don't get onion, just fruit. Anyway, It's good chit.

Double Trouble. I think my initial tastings were of an old product. In 2015 I made it through well over a case and loved it

Belgian strong dark ales, specifically Chimay Blue and Rochefort 8 ... first time I tried them, tasted like raisin puree and I HATE raisins. Came back to them a couple years (and about 200 reviews) later, and whole-E-crap. Ambrosia!

Farmhouse ales/saisons and Scottish ales have grown on me big time, too.
