Currently drinking a St Archer IPA after just finishing our annual 'fire wine' ritual with the neighbors...

Ready for ignition (sugar cubes as it's tough to find the white sugar cones):

And then Thor came out and went batshit crazy butt-tucking / running circles around us and the cars in the driveway... Good Times!

LMBO, it's such a high lob and darn straight they knew what they were doing and in for when they named that beer! :stuck_out_tongue:

Can you blame Thor? Those white collar urban sacrificial satanic rituals are just scary. Scary I say! :stuck_out_tongue:

Nope, and amazingly not a drop of wine on him... but a few of St Archer IPA when he helped finish the can.

LNBA's, even with the beer I had last night into late last night, I still had a hard time sleeping :slight_frown: So....tonight I'm eating what I made last night after the tacos which was my first attempt at stuffed peppers (for some reason the rice didn't cook completely) and pairing it with a homebrew sent by @JayWhitson called Shug Monkey! Good stuff and enjoying it in the Uberbrew glass!

Got the last of my Christmas shopping done so I rewarded myself with a second beer

    Some Rampant from the tree

Oh and looks at that sweet head. I seem to get some of the biggest foamy heads from IPA's. Is that normal?

If it moves and isn't supposed to duct tape it! If it doesn't move and it is supposed to WD40 it!

    Finishers:

My go-to amber ale. Nice juicy citrus/herbal/spicy hops and balanced caramel/toasted biscuit/nutty malt flavors with balanced bitterness. Moderate creamy/bready mouthfeel with slight hop stickiness as well. Just an all around delicious and spot on to classic style amber ale. Love this stuff. I always buy this or Lagunitas Censored if I am in the mood for amber ale.

My last Born Yesterday. Still tasting fantastic! Huge grapefruit, peach, pineapple, tangerine, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, and pine; with some light honey/bready malt balanced and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine/citrus rind balanced bitter finish; with a very smooth, crisp, dry, and sticky hop finish. Mosaic, Equinox, and Amarillo hop combo, my favorite hops. Will definitely buy another full pack of it next year. This was basically my top rated American IPA when I reviewed it at 3 days old. Not quite the same caliber now, but still fantastic across the board after 2 months.

Going back to Ohio for the holidays on Thursday, so I still have a few IPAs to clear out from T-day weekend. Still tasting incredible! Flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, mango, pineapple, lemon/orange peel, and pine; with some light caramel/bready malt balance and dank floral/grassy hop earthiness. Aggressive pine/citrus rind bitter, dry, and sticky finish. Always delicious! Still got a handful of White Rajah to clear out too, but in the end I will probably be bringing them home. I will be packing a full case of cellar goodies for the week ahead like last year.

Insane batch this year. Enormous earthy/lightly fruity roasted coffee notes; with big dark chocolate, cocoa, molasses, toasted oats, dark bread, and light smoke/charred flavors; with a bittersweet creamy/silky and lightly sticky/chalky roasted finish. Tons of complexity, super smooth, minimal warming for the ABV. I prefer it at 9-12 months old for a bit more balanced deep malt complexity against the coffee; but I still love it fresh as well. Founders just announced today that the Baby label is ok for MI again, after 3 months of debate; so we should be seeing it again before its gone for the season(hopefully)

Glad this was just a single as I am not digging it as much as I thought I would. Meanwhile Also celebrating the Stars beating the Blackhawks 4-0. That brings the Stars record to 26-7-2 a truly amazing record.
