Wow, really? I thought that about Ballast Point Grunion and to a lesser extent Lawson's Super Session #2... but never got any oniony nose from Limbo.

Joseph James Brewery out of Nevada is probably one of the most over looked breweries and they have solid core line up of stout brown Citra rye and also great barrel aged stuff too

Almanac Dog patch love that stuff. Sierra Nevada ? I guess when you get to be a big dog people are use to seeing your name and forget how good the beer is. Cheers.

Living in Stowe, VT my whole adult life I have to say the most underrated brewery in my area is Rock Art Brewery. Its been around for longer than some of the others (Alchemist, HF, etc). Not to say that by having these great breweries hasn't made Rock Art step up and make better beer as well in the process. They do some amazing IPA's and IIPA's. I love their beer. Some of the nicest people as well when you go in for growlers or just to shoot the shit. A true locals brewery!!!

I've really been enjoying Stoneface brewing, Mozacalypse is yummy.

Everything I ever have from Modern Times is just excellent. Really love Modern Times.

My last one would be Pipeworks. Yes they do come up with some goofy stuff and it could be hit or miss. But at least they are trying to be creative. But what they do get right is pretty excellent. And of the "ninja" series beers are great. Especially Marilime Law. Really hope to see that again.

Underrated and also an up and coming brewery, imo: Free Will Brewing.
The Kragle IPA is just a great beer. They have a great sour program, too.
