    Merry Christmas! Time to cook a nice big breakfast-eggs, hash browns and bacon. Just opened the first beer of this special day, a '14 BCBS.

    We had a nice Christmas Eve dinner at my mother's. Three of the six kids made it home for the celebration.
    Today is going to be a low-key, relaxing day with family.
    I'm drinking the first of a two pack from Sebago.

    Merry Christmas BAs. Got a bunch of people coming over so stocked up with bulk but what I want. Celebration will start with lots of Sculpin. Since my bro in law likes Heineken I grabbed him a 12 pack. That will keep him happy. Standing rib roast awaits a rub down. Since kids are 17 and 19 we won't hear from them for a few more hours. Spiked coffee until the sun rises.

    Coffee spiked with rum & Kahlua & a little Almond Joy creamer. After that I will move on to a Founders Breakfast Stout. My 12 year old is chomping at the bit, but Papa isn't up yet:grimacing::astonished: Merry Christmas BA!

    I remember a few years back when I tried my first beer from Innis & Gunn I thought the oakiness was very unpleasant. Nowadays that I'm somewhat more open to previously unusual flavors/aromas in my beer, I thought I should give this one a try. Still not a huge fan of oak but (despite this) I really enjoyed this one. Not to mention that I always enjoy products from Scotland for the nostalgia they offer (I lived in St.Andrews for 4 years).
