    Good morning Ba's. Breaking in one of my gifts from Mrs. Claus. Speaking of breaking, our Christmas day ended with an ambulance ride for my mom when she decided to try out my son's scooter/balance board. The dismount did not go well and she broke her arm in 2 places. I told her someone has to make up these statistics. The best part is my cousin's GF was one of the EMTs on duty yesterday and she kept talking all week about how quiet it is on Christmas so she would probably be sleeping most of the day.

    Jesus! What would posess a grandmother to try and navigate one of those things? And did anyone explain that it might end badly??:grimacing: Hope she heals fast!

    I have no doubt that WILL happen to me one day. I always assume I'm still young enough to ride my kids' stuff. After all, it wasn't THAT long ago I was riding my own skateboard.

    We knew it would be ugly. That's why we were all videoing:grinning: (she raised 3 boys, so she knows how bad we are). Actually, my youngest brother felt pretty bad because he was right beside her almost the entire time unitil she decided she "had it". The worst part is it was on carpet since we figured it was safer.

    Only a matter of time for me. Always trying to show up my kids. I will be 40 in 2016, but I still think I am 21 (17 if you ask my wife). The problem is I dont heal like a 21 year old anymore.

    I also turn 40 in 2016. I'm still trying to figure out why I can't miss a week in the gym without paying for it for the next three weeks. I don't remember that issue 10 years ago.

    Good for her. Every now and then I try a cartwheel but it used to be a backbend. I hope she's fine and back playing with the next toy like the motor scooter you will buy for xmas next year. =)

    I kept looking for the thread opener from him to no avail. Did he finally succumb to his self poisoning? Nice impersonation BTW. A 11% stout at 5:45! Oh yeah, I agree too. I don't touch that beer for 10-12 months. 24 is even better.

    Good morning BAs and happy Boxing Day to those celebrating. My first beer is a BBA Imperial Mayan Mocha from Odd Side. Meh. Glad I had just one bottle. I like their other brews much better.

    NP: Megalazottak es megszomoritottak by the Hungarian prog band After Crying. Moody, slow, but very good. Another selection from the prog CD avalanche a pal sent me.

    I must have slept well last night because I woke up feeling pretty amazing considering how much beer I had yesterday. Today will be spent in gluttony as well. I'm off to watch the traditional Boxing Day fixtures in the English Premier League.
