yeah. i really like that style. hope to see more hoppy saisons in the future

 

Did a side by side last night with batch 1 and 2 of Raised Eye Brows, I liked 2 a tad more, more in your face guava notes and a cleaner brighter body, I is very good but more laid back and funky in style. Regardless, both are excellent sours.

What are the hours today? Getting conflicting stories; one says open til 2 other says closed. Phone number was of no help either. Thanks!

Occupied space definitely has the funk. Nothing else to see here.

 

I just drank a B2 Raised Eyebrows. The fruit up front is nice and in your face, and both fruits were quite distinct. I thought it had a huge crackery finish which isn't exactly my favorite flavor profile. Maybe the finish will morph to be a bit funkier over time?... The last beer that I remember with such a finish like this was Bretta Rose' B2, and I've been meaning to crack one of those soon too see what happened.

 

Parrots was heavily carbonated on my end. Beer was ok

Are they open today by chance? Need to pick up my raised eyebrows by Sunday.

 

Think I overheard Ross talk about that on Monday. Limited hours yesterday, closed on Xmas.

 

Was any brewery open on Xmas? It would have been awright to follow the annual holiday gorge with a little brewery tastiness.

 

that's why most breweries have strange and more wide open hours leading up to xmas. so you can growler fill it to stock up before the closed hours.

The new Arts District Brewing was open - I realize this is OT, but I thought it was pretty decent. Huge huge huge space, skee ball and corn hole and ping pong and darts, Traction IPA is pretty good, and the food looked decent too. Their house beers are all really safe and a little boring at the moment, but pretty good. I'm looking forward to their future.

Also love HPB, for hops and all of the rest.

 

Seriously, srsly, that sounds like a decent alternative to the movies or sitting around the house after the Xmas festivities.

 

Occupied Space is "off"... website taplist is not up to date. In case anyone had their little heart set on it...

(7 to 5 is pretty killer)
