Looking forward to these beers! The especially the first, a double IPA (packaged in 16oz cans/8.5 abv), is due to hit at the end of January.

They should have named this double saga, because we all know what it really is...

Wonder how this will compare to hop silo.

They branched out hop-wise when they made Hop Silo. They won't take the lazy way out for this one.

Can you elaborate a little? I think I understand what you're getting at but want to be sure.

I thought hop silo was just average, smooth and drinkable but it lacked that fruity and juicy aroma/taste from the hops that can set a beer apart. I'm hoping this a completely different beer. I'll still jump at that chance to try any new double IPA, especially local.

It's purely speculation on my part, but when they made their first-ever DIPA, they didn't just make a double Saga. They used a different hop bill and took a risk. My gut tells me they'll do that again and try something new with the 30th anniversary beer

Bravo Summit for bringing back the dankness. It's been 5 years. Put aside your Sagas and enjoy.

It might have started showing up at release parties at bars, but it will be a couple more weeks until it will be released to stores.

It was on tap at Bulldog Uptown Wednesday night. Delicious DIPA! Unchained 21 - Us and Them - are both solid also.

I see that the double IPA is being tapped at a few locations around the twin cities and haven't been able to go, first impressions? Double the saga?

They did a good job making sure it finishes dry and has maltiness that compliments the hops. It is not the hop bomb I felt they were hyping it to be, but it does have a nice blend of juicy varieties. Overall, it is really well balanced and definitely worth picking up a 4-pack of when it is released.

I found the DIPA to be a decent beer but nothing I'd honestly be rushing out to get. Was worth a try on tap and move on.

I was disappointing in the DIPA, I was really excited for it because I though Hop Silo was amazing and I thought it was going to be similar
