Agree. Blessing in disguise. I was perturbed in the moment, mostly at people buying more than they "needed," but in the end I don't need more glasses.

 

I set up a few IP trades and have 12 bottles coming my way so I can try different homemade variants. First up will be with french pressed Modern Times Brazil Sitio Da Torre coffee along with 2 sliced vanilla beans and a splash of Mostra Mocha Cold Brew. I will let the vanilla beans steep about 30 minutes, then I'll get a picture of it near the pool with the other 11 bottles slightly out of focus in the background and a box of Nilla wafers nonchalantly sitting on the patio table (also out of focus). It will be in my Fundamental Observation glass for the Instagram photo but then I'll pour it through my See's Chocolate Walnut Fudge-packed Randall into my Darkstar November glass and that's what I'll actually drink it from. Half I'll drink, the other half I'll use to dip the Nilla Wafters I plan to eat. I'll save the bottle for a "beer graveyard" pic down the road so people know I don't bother with that common folk beer you can find in grocery stores like Union Jack or Black Butte Porter.

Yeah Udder Love bottles don't really draw a big crowd, which is fine with me...one of my favorite beers they make

 

I'd suggest skipping the Fudge-packed Randall version.

Hahahaha. comparing years past. Last year Tovarish wasn't a shit show. Not saying Udderlove is going to turn messy. I mean, BA Full Malted was a ghost town even the day after Fundamental released, but still, no way to tell these days what will be the shit show.

 

True but it happens to be a Tuesday so hopeful that it will still be ok for us.

If it were called Udder Love COFFEE Milk Stout, people would go nuts. Cuz, you know, just having lactose in a beer won't get you nearly as much in trade from the Midwest or East Coast as a beer with some coffee in it . Am I right?

Apparently it's an American candy bar that I have been deprived of my entire life. Are these available in California?!?

 

Does anyone know how accurate Beachwood's "House beers on draft list" is? I know Tovarish was on at the release but is it flowing?
