Finished my morning run, cleared off the cars, and shoveled and salted every piece of asphalt on my property. Time to warm up before I head back out in an hour or two to take my daughter sledding for the first time.

I may be one of the few, but I'm so excited about this weather.

    Cheers!

Good morning BAs! It's cool and drizzling again here in NW PA, typical weather in Scotland. I thought it apropos to have this for breakfast:

And ... Imgur is not available. Of course not. Anyway, it's Stoudt's bottle conditioned Scotch Style Ale. Very decent. I'll post a photo and disclaimer later when Imgur is available.

Good morning BA, still enjoying holiday time off from work over here.

Just got a fresh 6 pack the other day, exactly a month old. Incredible as usual. Big bright hop flavors of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, and pine; with some light caramel/bready malt balance. Good sized pine/citrus rind bitterness; with a nice moderately dry finish with a nice sticky and smooth mouthfeel; with very slight creaminess. Always love this stuff.

My go-to fall seasonal brown, picked up a random single the other day. Robust and complex flavors of caramel, brown sugar, brown bread, nutty, and light cocoa/chocolate malts; balanced by herbal/spicy/light citrusy hop character and bitterness. Always a spot on delicious American Brown ale.

Last of the 6 pack finally, may get some more as singles since a newer batch is available. Still tasting awesome. Flavors of huge peach, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, and pine; balanced by honey, light caramel, and toasted bready malts. Good sized pine/citrus rind bitter finish; with a smooth and sticky/resinous mouthfeel with a touch of malt slickness as well. Nice moderate dryness from bitterness. I always love Citra.

Oct 2014 bottling. Absolutely incredible as expected. Huge flavors of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, molasses, char, toasted oak, and smoke/vanilla notes. Aggressive piney hop, roast/char malt, and spicy oak bitter finish; with a great creamy/silky full bodied finish with moderate roast malt/hop chalkiness/stickiness as well. I certainly prefer this with even more age(same with the base beer); but any Yeti variant is a top tier classic Russian Imperial Stout to-style regardless(at least to me).

    Cheers!
