Assuming cans are still available that afternoon, I'll be there after I leave work. Hopefully I'll see some of y'all there as I'm sure I'll be chugging Superillo on tap.

I'm considering taking the drive up from NJ. Is traffic really going to be that bad at like 9am on NYE? Worse than typical rush hour traffic? Might just leave my house around 9am so I hit NYC area around 10am, and the brewery around 10:30-11am and miss at least the rush hour traffic and hope cans make it past then. Also will the tasting room be open that day too? Growler fills? Do they fill growlers other than their own? Or will it just be the cans? I've never been

They fill other growlers, but see the guidelines on page 1

Ah that's right sorry. I have the Kane stainless steel growlers so I doubt those meet the specifications. $5 for an empty growler is not bad at all though. But good to know they will be doing tastings and growler fills on NYE

One thing to consider on the traffic, it will be affected across most of the city as the street closures around Times Square fire up. While they don't start until 1 or 1:30, people will be busting arse to get where they need before then.

Not sure where you're situated in NJ, but hell maybe 278 across the Verrazano bridge is a better option for dealing with NYE traffic. Then again, the extra travel time v. traffic might cancel each other out

I'm someone who would rather drive an hour longer moving than an hour less but sit in traffic. As long as I'm cruising it's all good. I'll look into both options. Thanks a lot

Coming here youll be fine, going back youll probably get stuck anywhere you drive. My advice to you, get here super early, be first in line... And gtfo as fast as possible cause it might still be early enough for it to not be bad.

Not a coffee shop per se, but if you have a sweet tooth there is a Momofuku Milk Bar on Smith St a short (~10 blocks) walk from OH.

That place is great! I almost bought a stuffed possum there once. I was buzzed on AGE at the time, so this post is relevant

I was a block from OH today. Wanted to stop by but they're closed Tuesdays. Any word on the Super Nugget? Hope to try it and the Superillo on Thursday.

Are you sure you wouldn't rather go back tomorrow night instead, so you can post a review of Superillo to help determine if I'm taking time off from work to go grab cans on Thursday?

So, don’t mean to get off topic regarding the anticipation of the can release or the speculation behind the bottle release, but…

Just read the article on the Suarez/OH collaboration, and quite intrigued to see how well the fermented oak-aged sumac is incorporated into the OH brewing process come next summer. Have been expecting great things from the former HF lad, and 2016 is just right around the corner…Suarez Family Brewery might be making quite the impression next year.

As per Tired Hands Instagram post, supposedly just finished up a collab brew at OH. Anyone have any info on this? This will drive the hype train up a wall.
