You really want to share a 10 month old dipa with a friend?? Are you thinking of a different beer?

 

Pretty sure it most recently came out in September

 

There was a batch in September, not that I would me seeking that out at this point either but not as bad as 10 months

 

I have a bottle of it, but I'm in DSM

Mike and I were talking about this tonight. With some friends we just popped one of the dated beers in question open and were not surprised....still outstanding. Why don't you come down to Decorah and we will help you out and discuss with you how it is that we are packaging our DIPAs to last for months beyond what would be expected.

I drank my final Hopsmack last week, and it was still fantastic. I will sit on my last Sosus even longer...for science sake

 

Enjoying a Light Speed that is around 3-4 months old and still delicious. Please make more Xhops Gold, it was an incredible beer!

Dude, wait for a fresh batch to come out
While TG makes some great beer, it does not hold up Better than any other world class IPA out there
In fact was just at TG and bought 3 month old Golden nugget.... Let's just say I poured most of it out
If you don't believe me PM me and I'll give you a fresh can of Golden nugget
And a 3 month old bottle and you can test it for yourself

Edit: if TG if offering free beer then obviously you should try it... I am speaking to paying for this beer

 

I drank a bottle of Hopsmack a week ago. It had fallen off a little, but not that much. Still better than any fresh Florida offerings let alone old ones. I've seen people compare XHG to a number of other TG beers, but to me it's essentially a pseudo-Hopsmack

 

I have accidentally sat on TG DIPAs for several months.

If they've been refrigerated, it's great. If not, they fall off like anything else. That's crucial

Hey OP, I have a bottle. I live in Madison tho, if you want, PM me and let's see what we can work out. I can ship to you, but obviously I'd like to trade it for something. It was from the last batch.

I think I actually have 2 bottles the more I think about it. It was an excellent beer.

 

@tgchief I heard you hooked up @architects with a pretty great visit. It is really great when a brewery is willing to do something to help out a great BA like that. More Breweries should take note of acts like this.
